Snoop Dog is a name that has become synonymous with rap music worldwide. With some of the smoothest rap music on the market and a reputation for smoking a joint virtually everywhere he goes, the 48-year-old “What’s My Name?” rapper has a large following of 53.1 million on Instagram alone and posts frequently.

While the posts are generally about his music or a meme that he found funny, one of his latest posts actually throws a NBA player under the bus with a rather scathing set of images.

The post includes a shot of someone who looks very similar to Lakers player Danny Green dressed up in an archer costume. Next to the image are two targets with arrows scattered all around them, indicating that he missed every shot he took.

This is clearly in reference to the critical shot that Danny missed during the NBA finals which was worth 3 points and could have won them the match.

While this was humorous, quite a few readers actually criticized Snoop for essentially trashing Danny over the notorious shot he missed.

Here are just some of the numerous comments that were left on Snoop’s post. It is relevant to mention that some people fully agreed with Snoop about that missed shot apparently.

“LeBron has to stop running from taking the last shot! That’s not mamba mentality” (Commentator)

“Snoop I would rather have u out there then Danny” (Commentator)

Lebron shared in an interview shortly after the game that he and the team felt that their trust was misplaced after seeing Danny miss. He had this to say when the press asked him some questions:

“I trusted him, we trusted him and it just didn’t go and you live with that, it’s one of the best shots we could have gotten,” James said during the interview. “Danny had a hell of a look. It just didn’t go down. I know he wishes he could have it again. I wish I can make a better pass. But you just live with it.”

Snoop was not so understanding however, instead choosing to absolutely rail on Danny for his crucial miss saying the following:

“Get ya ass bac in the gym right now f–k going to sleep get ya shot right fool we one game away w. T. F is u doing?”

And this isn’t even the first time that Snoop has criticized him. The pressure is real, and so is Snoop’s criticisms. The sheer number of posts that he has published about Danny is actually a bit impressive.
