Miley Cyrus didn't need her disco-ball glitters and Chanel to knock the camera dead today. The 27-year-old singer, fresh from her "Midnight Sky" single and "Heart of Glass" cover, updated her Instagram stories early on Thursday morning with a little pantless selfie action, plus a giant shout-out to heavy metal band Iron Maiden. Miley, delivering her pretty glorious legs to her 115 million followers, was out to show off her signature scruffy style, but there was an agenda. Check out the shot below.

Scroll for the snap. Miley, who has been urging fans to vote and made September headlines for saying the upcoming November elections have never been "this important," had caught herself in selfie mode and in a toned-down vibe. The "SHE IS COMING" singer, gearing up for the release of "She Is Miley Cyrus," was wearing only a grunge black t-shirt grazing her thighs – the graphic tee bore the Iron Maiden logo, with Miley also rocking her COVID mullet and sticking out her tongue.

Keep scrolling for more photos. Miley joins the slew of left-wing celebrities backing Democratic candidate Joe Biden – just this week, singer Taylor Swift officially endorsed him, also joining stars including much-loved couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.
Miley, writing "VOTE" in color above her head, added: "I'm with BIDEN HARRIS 2020" at the bottom, also posting a joking photo of the 77-year-old's head superimposed on a macho male body in swimwear. For Miley, the election is no joke: "Listen, I'm 27," she said last month, adding: "I know I've never experienced an election this important in my life."

Miley, appearing on Nova 96.9's "Fitzy & Wippa", said: "I can't express the importance enough," continuing:
"Especially if young people getting out there and being active and making sure that their friends, their family are voting and have the information about whether it's mailing in, about the state of our country right now."
For the former "Hannah Montana" star, the current state of affairs under President Donald Trump is, per her words, "rock bottom" amid "desperate times." Headlines, however, are not just political for the superstar singer now.

Miley's music has also been in the news this fall. Following her double VMAs snag for 2019-released track "Mother's Daughter," the singer made headlines for releasing "Midnight Sky," then going full rocker mode as she covered Blondie's "Heart of Glass" hit. The singer, now confirmed to be collaborating with 25-year-old Dua Lipa on her new album, has fans eagerly awaiting "She Is Miley Cyrus" – it'll be her seventh studio album.
Just yesterday, Miley posted about another backyard session – she's done them before – writing: "@mtv backyard sessions x unplugged is coming 10/16."
