Mike Pence 'Pink Eye' Trends On Twitter During VP Debate

Mike Pence’s physical appearance during the debate caused concern with many believing he had contracted pink eye.
During the Vice President Debate, many people noticed Pence’s eye seemed a little red, which might be problematic for someone who was around someone who tested positive for Covid. The hashtag #Pinkeyepence along with #PinkEye began trending on social media.
Kamala Harris stayed 12 feet apart from Pence during the debate.
One person wrote, “Yo #PinkEyePence shut up. You have 2 mins. And try for the love of everything stay on topic! #VPDebate”
Another commented on Twitter, “Takeaways so far: #pinkeyepence is already trending, and I've heard more about fracking in the past ten minutes than I have in all of 2020.”

During the MSNBC recap, Brian Williams spoke about the topics that were trending on Twitter including his "red eye" and the fly that was on his head.
At one point, Pink Eye was trending on Twitter with over 37,000 people having something to say about it.
"THERE HAS BEEN A FLY ON MIKE PENCE'S HEAD FOR LIKE 2 MINUTES IM CRYINGGGG," joked one debate watcher.

"Pink eye is a frequent symptom of COVID-19, and Mike Pence has severe pink eye. Methinks another White House positive test is well on its way. EyesEyesEyes #VPDebate," pointed out another.
Nearly 500,000 people were tweeting about "The Fly" after it became the star of the show.
"Mike Pence is just like Pig Pen from Charlie Brown. Except if Pig Pen also had pink eye. #VPDebate," commented another.
Another was astonished by the night writing, "This can’t be for real. First, Mike Pence has pink eye...and now, a fly on his silver hair for at least 5 minutes. Is it a Russian spy???."
