Draya Michele Makes Instagram Jump Through Hoops With Big Announcement

Draya Michele is on a roll, or should we say a hoop, as she made a “big a**” announcement yesterday, delighting fans with her new jewelry collection.

Draya is known these days more as the woman who made a “funny” comment on Megan Thee Stallion getting shot in the foot by Tory Lanez and then losing face on social media, than the actress and designer she is.

Her foot-in-mouth also cost her the Savage Fenty ambassadorship, but things seem to be okay with the 35-year-old and her 8.1 million Instagram followers now.

For a while, after Draya joked about how she wanted someone to love her enough to shoot her, on a podcast, things were dark for her. Not only did Rihanna diss her by dropping her form the Savage X Fenty line, but Megan Thee Stallion also took to twitter and called her out, saying no one should joke about abuse.

Draya did apologize to Megan on social media but the damage had been done. For a while, Draya seemed to be struggling, and even put up a “single mother” post for maximum effect. And empathy. 

Of course, now, she has bought her first house, without child support.

Did the single mother card work or did her body do all the talking in bikinis? While many believe it was the latter, it seemed the sun is bright and shining for Draya again as she is back to posting hot pics of herself on Instagram, and also has a new show to take home to momma.

Plus with her latest announcement of her new line jewelry, with plenty of leg show, fans are more than happy to forget her mistakes as they lap up her hot pictures and sultry poses faster than she can post them.

Yesterday, Draya took to social media in a series of pictures donning a cute little black skirt and gorgeous thigh-high white boots, along with hoops that could work as armlets.

Wrote Draya, “I’m so excited to share my jewelry collaboration with @8otherreasons with you guys!!!!!! These posters went up at the corner of N Ashland + Milwaukee in CHICAGO. I’ll keep you posted on the October release date and other cities. Coming soon. #bigASShoops #andmore”

Fans are happy. Not just for her, but because they cannot wait to shop. She may not think before she spoke about Meg, but her jewelry designs sure have a lot of takers, with the post having 110,000 likes and counting.

Wrote a fan, “Can’t wait to get some cute stuff and rock it ?? Always Bossin up love you ?”

While some loved the hoops and others appreciated the skirt and the legs it went on, for many of Draya’s fans, it’s the whole package with comments like, “It's the entire woman for me ????? congratulations beautiful”.
