Convicted scammer Anna Sorokin, also known as Anna Delvey, is working on a new reality series. In a new interview, the fake German heiress' lawyer Duncan Levin revealed that his client plans to show the world "what she stands for" and her "artistic talents" in the upcoming show.

Levin also pointed out how difficult it has been to find collaborators to work with them and that Sorokin's public image as a fraudster was impeding their progress. He further shared that winning her criminal appeal to her 2019 conviction and stopping ICE from deporting her is a top priority for his firm.

In an interview with Page Six, Levin, who legally reps Sorokin, shared that the formerly convicted scammer is developing a tv reality project as part of her plans for the new year.

"It's going to be dealing with her art and design, and it will deal with her as a person and as a talented artist," the attorney told the publication.

He also hinted that the project would shine a light on the true personality of Sorokin rather than all the information that the media has spewed about her being a con artist.

The upcoming show is not currently affiliated with a production firm or network because it is still in the early phases of development and is yet to be scripted.

Levin added, "We're down the road on several really interesting opportunities, and we are just looking for places where she'll get a fair shake and where people are willing to give her this opportunity to speak for herself and tell her story."

Although Sorokin's lawyer, Levin, is hyped about her plans, he does admit that it has been difficult finding people they could partner with due to the fake German heiress' previous criminal convictions.

"The collateral consequences of criminal convictions are really ruinous. Everyone she speaks to initially thinks of her as a con artist, and so she has an uphill battle," The Manhattan-based lawyer shared via Page Six. "Every single meeting, every single time she's talking to somebody to say, 'Give me a chance to do this.'"

The legal representative also shared that Sorokin is "really a lot more than the worst thing that she's alleged to have ever done," adding that she has been a "great client" since he took over from disbarred lawyer Audrey Thomas.

He stated, "She's a very different person. But she's hilarious, and we often spend a lot of time laughing... She sees the lighter side of things even though she's got a lot of legal problems."

Levin also hinted that Sorokin's appeal for her 2019 conviction for grand larceny, attempted grand larceny, theft of services, and five other charges would be only slightly discussed in the project.

Her ongoing immigration issue, which led to her being on house arrest, would not also be focused on.

Instead, "what she stands for" and her "artistic talents" will be the center of the project as she attempts to change people's perspectives of her.

"She really wants everybody to know who she is," Levin shared about his client's plans for her loyal fans and outsiders. "I think that's what we're going to see a lot more of, even with the backdrop of the immigration matter, her criminal appeal and all of the other legal issues that she's confronting."

In the meantime, Levin is doing all he can to prevent Sorokin from getting deported, despite the case being slowed down by her former attorney's refusal to release her file following his disbarment for unrelated matters.

The Manhattan-based lawyer is also looking forward to winning Sorokin's criminal appeal against her 2019 conviction, which imprisoned her for nearly four years.

"In broad strokes, what we're going to be doing in 2023 is we're going to be appealing her criminal conviction, and we're going to be winning on that, and we're going to exonerate her, he said elsewhere in the statement to Page Six. "As a result of that, we are going to get the immigration court to not deport her because the predicate is that criminal conviction."
