Sommer Ray's Thonged Out Modeling Shoot Leads to Injury

Sommer Ray is proof that being a hot Instagram model doesn't come easy as she revealed when a sexy shoot turned into more than she bargained for. The 24-year-old Instagram phenom took to Instagram on Friday afternoon and gave some behind-the-scenes of some digital content she was shooting. Ray was teasing an upcoming collaboration with the NELKBOYS, a group of YouTube content creators from Canada known for their pranks and hilarious videos. Sommer Ray was throwing down some serious heat, but unfortunately, she wasn't the hottest thing on set.

Sommer Ray commanded attention at what appeared to be an automotive garage while she stormed in front of the camera wearing an extreme-cutout bikini and a pair of knee-high cowboy boots. She strode down a walkway and did a complete spin, showing off her famed booty in a thong before accidentally leaning up against a rusted car that was piping hot from the sun beating down on it all afternoon.

Sommer Ray immediately recoiled in pain and admitted she burned her leg, as temperatures in Southern California reached triple-digits for the third day in a row on Friday.

Sommer Ray has not yet updated fans on the status of her burn, but hopefully it won't leave too much of a mark. The temperatures in Los Angeles are no joke, as the prolonged fall heat wave has been setting some records. There have been numbers as high as 107 in the valley near Los Angeles, and even the costal cities are seeing temperatures of 100 degrees.

Because of the heat, many recreational centers have been shut down out of caution and the National Weather Service was advising that people stay inside.

"Heat advisories are in effect today. Take precautions exercising or working outdoors between 10am-7pm," an advisory read earlier in the week.

Sommer Ray feeling the heat comes on the heels of the star cooling down in a major way when it came to celebrating her 24th birthday. As we previously reported on, the model started off her celebrations small but ended with a bang when she visited The Sugar Factory and went elbows-deep in a platter of ice cream that came with every topping imaginable.

"I love the Sugar Factory," Ray declared while devouring one of their King Kong Sundaes, which don't come cheap at $99.

Sommer Ray may be feeling a year older, but she wants 2020 back after joining many in the sentiment that the year hasn't been all that great.

"i’m not adding this year 2020 to my age..
i didn’t use it," the Instagram model wrote on a recent post while showing herself stripping off a green shirt to reveal a turquoise bikini underneath.

It seems others agreed with Sommer Ray as one fan wrote, "I'm with you on that."

Even Paris Hilton got in on the action and responded with a row of fire emojis.
