Britney Spears has admitted that soaking up beach vibes is necessary for her happiness, and when she’s in Hawaii that gets dialed up 1000%. The Princess of Pop took to Instagram on Friday afternoon for a flashback to one of her best vacations and reveals that spending time in the tropics of Hawaii are some of the greatest moments of her life. Unfortunately, Britney won’t be able to travel to her Hawaiian hideaway this year as COVID-19 restrictions have made quick vacations near impossible.
The “Oops! …I Did It Again” singer shared a video compilation of herself splish-splashing in the ocean and soaking up the Hawaiian sunlight as she romped around the beach in a tiny turquoise bikini with a snakeskin pattern.
“Just thought I’d recap some of my favorite moments from my trip to Hawaii ??? !!! I always have an amazing time in Maui …. lunch by the pool … a splash in the ocean,” Britney captioned her video.
Accompanying the video was a delightful tropical music track.
Along with Britney’s time on the beach, the “Womanizer” singer shared that her posh Hawaiian resort also named a signature cocktail after the star. She says the frozen treat is:
“[Chocolate] piña colada drink that tastes like an ice cream Sunday ?? !!!! They actually named the drink after me … Piña Britana —- no shit ?????? !!!! Anyhow … this is a throwback of some of my adventures there … GOD BLESS YOU ALL !!!!”
She didn’t reveal herself enjoying the drink but it sure sounds tasty!
The beach also brings Britney Spears some well-needed peace. Earlier in the summer she took a trip to the beach with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, and talked about how special the waves are to her heart.
“Going to the beach ? is always so much fun !!!!! We are all social distancing and wearing masks of course …. even still there is a sense of togetherness at the beach that brings me peace. I feel so small next to this vast body of water ….. it takes me back to when I was 6 years old.
Britney also loves the sensory overload a good beach trip can bring and shared what she experiences when she hits the surf.
“The connection I always feel with the heat from the sun on my body ….. connecting me to something way greater than myself ….. and the one moment you feel a nice breeze ….. it’s like a spiritual experience !!!!!! I love the feeling of coming home with a golden tan …. thinking only of chocolate or ice cream ….. and still smelling like suntan oil. It’s funny how little things can touch your soul so freaking much.”
