Amy Robach And T.J. Holmes Intend To 'Be Fully Open' About Their Love Life: 'It's Not A Fling'

ABC anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes broke the internet late last year when their office romance went public. The reveal came with photos of them cuddled intimately, causing immediate controversy and criticism on social media. The co-hosts have since been taken off their morning show, but this hasn't affected or slowed down their relationship.

Robach and Holmes are reportedly "seriously in love" and have continued to spend time together amid their hiatus. The pair also plan on being very open with their romance.

ABC is conducting an internal review of their relationship to determine its length and impact on other staff before they proceed. The couple was recently spotted in Miami, shortly after Holmes officially filed for divorce from Marilee Fiebig.

Ever since Robach and Holmes' office affair was uncovered in late 2022, they seem to no longer care about hiding their relationship. A source close to the controversial couple recently spoke to Us Weekly and said, "It's not a fling and they are seriously in love. And they will be fully open about their relationship now."

Robach and Holmes' affair was made public in November 2022 after photos of them cuddling were published by Daily Mail. The GMA3 co-anchors completed their week hosting the popular ABC morning show before they were pulled from their positions and sent on hiatus.

Despite the blowback from the news of their relationship, the couple is yet to slow down with the PDA. 

ABC network is conducting an internal review of Holmes and Robach's relationship. The review will determine when exactly the office affair began and "if it was distracting to the staff."

Per Us Weekly, "ABC is putting resources in so there are no surprises and they have all the information they can before deciding how to proceed." Despite the controversy that has followed them since their relationship broke, Holmes and Robach are yet to slow down with the PDA and public appearances.

The couple was spotted being very romantic in Miami in December, not long after Holmes filed for divorce from wife Fiebig.

Holmes married Fiebig in 2010, shortly after his divorce from Amy Ferson, with whom he shares a daughter Brianna and a son Jaiden. He and Fiebig have one daughter, Sabine, whom they'll likely share custody of. Meanwhile, Robach also married Shue in 2010, but they had no biological children during their marriage.

Robach has two daughters, Analise and Av, with ex-husband Tim McIntosh. Shue also has three sons, Nate, Aidan, and Wyatt, with his ex-wife Jennifer Hageney. It's unclear how the couple will relate with their families and kids with how damaging the controversy on their relationship has likely been.

Shue has yet to address the affair or his divorce from Robach publicly. A source told US Weekly earlier this month that they doubt he would ever make a statement on the Robach's affair and their divorce. They also said the "Melrose Place" alumni and his sons have chosen to "distance themselves from the situation" and keep things private.

Shue may be keeping quiet about the family drama, but Fiebig isn't. On Wednesday, she released a statement through her lawyer Stephanie Lehman. It addressed her divorce from Holmes and said Fiebig's focus remains on their daughter.

According to Us Weekly, the statement read, "During the holiday season and in light of the challenging times, Marilee's sole focus has remained on the overall best interest of her 9-year-old daughter. To that end, T.J.'s lawyer and I have been working together to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously, and as amicably as possible."

However, Lehman didn't hold back from delivering Fiebig's criticism of Holmes' behavior since the news of the affair broke online. The statement continued, "Notwithstanding, we continue to be disappointed by T.J.'s lack of discretion, respect, and sensitivity toward Marilee and the party's daughter. Marilee has been touched by the outpouring of support and looks forward to a new beginning in this new year."
