Bethenny Frankel Slams Prince Harry, Meghan Markle For Memoir And Docuseries

"Real Housewives of New York City" alum Bethenny Frankel recently took to Instagram to reveal why she is "obsessed" with rogue royals Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The reality star is known for her unfiltered comments about the couple stemming back to their 2020 exit from their royal duties.
Harry's memoir "Spare" is set to hit the market on January 10; however, it's already making waves. There, the father of two made a wide range of accusations, including claiming that his brother physically attacked him and that his father called him a "spare" upon birth.
While addressing Harry's yet-to-be-released memoir, Frankel revealed that she felt like the Royal achieved little in releasing the book. According to her, it caused more harm than good for him and Markle, and the amount of drama it has wrought will push attention away from whatever serious points he wanted to make.

Bethenny Frankel Says The Sussexes Have Handled Things In A 'Reckless' Manner
In an Instagram post shared on Sunday night, Frankel talked about Harry's memoir "Spare" and how the book likely caused more damage than good for him and Markle. "Because of the greater meaning. It's not necessarily what we say or what we do, but it's how we do it," the reality star said.
"To scorch the Earth and to burn bridges and to handle a situation in such a reckless, salacious manner doesn't achieve the result. The royal family is more popular than they were before you started this circus," Frankel continued per Page Six.
Frankel is a known critic of the Sussexes and has a history spanning years of publicly calling out their actions. In 2020, she notably slammed their decision to leave the royal family to the ire of the public.

The reality star noted that if Harry's memoir was intended to shed light on important topics like mental health struggles and racism, it had failed. According to Frankel, the public was much too focused on the bits of drama in the book to lend an ear to the "actual issues."
She explained, "The focus is on this whole massive charade versus the actual issues, versus anyone talking about the actual racism in society as it pertains to this matter, or the mental health of it, or the sibling rivalry, or the relentlessness about paparazzi. And in life and in business, I've learned that you don't take every single opportunity to scorch and torch the joint."
Frankel went on to advise the Prince, referencing her own life and how she had carried out business in her career. She explained that rather than "scorching the earth." Harry should handle the issues professionally, especially because it involves his family.
Bethenny Frankel On Preserving Her Private Life
The Bravo alum talked about her life and experiences, further claiming that despite her lengthy messy divorce from ex-husband Jason Hoppy, she neglected to air the issue out in public. She revealed that she did so mainly because of her 12-year-old daughter Bryn to maintain the image of her father.
"As it pertains to my wretched divorce, court documents released some things, but I have spoken very little about the specifics of that matter because I do have a daughter, so I don't believe in just torching the joint," Frankel said.
The Skinnygirl founder stated that in order for the real issues to retain focus, she recommended that the Royal played the "long game." Frankel continued, "This has been the greatest spectacle to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars that have left us just shaking our heads about these two people."
Bethenny Frankel Says Prince Harry's Delivery 'Has Gotten Lost'
Frankel concluded her message by saying that Harry and Markle's situation showed people "what not to do on a trajectory in business or in our personal lives." She added, "It's not necessarily the content; it's the delivery, and the delivery has gotten lost."
Frankel made an online appearance last week when she slammed the couple for the memoir. After reading leaked excerpts of the literary work, Frankel claimed that Harry had divulged personal details about the royal family, most of which she did not appreciate.
At the time, she said, "How much more? Are we going with Meghan to get a pap smear? I mean, what's next? Honestly, I feel like I'm going to be in a rectal exam with Harry and [Prince] William."
