Savannah Chrisley Sends Chrissy Teigen Prayers After Losing Baby

Savannah Chrisley is sending prayers Chrissy Teigen's way after the model revealed the devastating news that she lost her third child. Like everyone on the Internet, the heartbreaking announcement hit the 23-year-old like a ton of bricks. Chrissy took to social media in the late hours of Wednesday night and shared that after two blood transfusions, her unborn son couldn't hang on any longer.
Posting devastating shots from inside the hospital holding onto her baby with John Legend, Chrissy made the tragic announcement.
In one photo, the "Chrissy's Court" star was seen with tears streaming down her face while sitting in the hospital bed in her gown. Another shot showed the model holding their baby, who was wrapped in a blanket, while John leaned in to comfort her.
Chrissy Teigen revealed she was hospitalized days ago because she was losing blood. The doctors gave her blood transfusions but it "wasn't enough." Sharing a snap showing her appearing to pray as she cried, Chrissy told her followers she lost the baby.
"We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before," Chrissy Teigen began her heartbreaking news. "We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough."
Revealing they had already given their little boy a name, she went on to say, "We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital."
"But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever," Chrissy Teigen added.
Hours after announcing the news, Savannah Chrisley took to her Instagram Story to send some positive words to the model's way. The TV star has been battling her own health issues for years and wanted to comfort Chrissy.
Posting the shot where Chrissy Teigen is crying in her hospital bed, Savannah Chrisley wrote, "My heart is breaking ... ? sending so much love and prayers @chrissyteigen." The model, who announced her pregnancy months ago and was almost immediately put on bed rest, also had a message for baby Jack.
"To our Jack - I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you," she wrote.
