Amber Heard is trying to wear as little clothing as possible as another heat wave descends on Southern California and sends the temperatures into the triple-digits this week. The "Aquaman" star took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon and revealed to fans her outfit of the day, which left little to the imagination as the controversial actress showed off her trim figure while reaching her hands above her head. Although heard is used to a little heat from her online critics, she's taking the real heat a little more seriously.

Amber Heard revealed the new picture to her 3.9 million followers while out on the town in L.A.

"Prepared for heatwave! Crop top + sandals ..all I’m missing is the wine," the actress wrote while posed in front of a glass door.

Heard wore a skintight skirt and matching crop top and also made sure to include a red bandana to serve as a facemask. The star has taken heat from online critics in the past for not wearing a facemask in public.

Amber Heard showing off her look comes on the heels of the actress returning to Los Angeles following a vacation in Turkey. Heard had taken off to the Middle Eastern country last month after finishing up another round of whirlwind court drama with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, and took the time in Turkey to unwind and relax. The "Aquaman" star shared many shots and memories from her trip, however many online critics lashed out at Heard for just about everything, including an outfit that was deemed inappropriate.

The courtroom drama for Amber Heard isn't over anytime soon, because her legal team most recently fired a heated document off in the ongoing defamation case with Johnny Depp and demanded that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star sit for a deposition.

Depp has filed a $50 claim against his ex-wife for defamation and she has already fired back with a $100 million counterclaim. The trial has been pushed back until next year while Depp continues filming for the next installment of J.K. Rowling's "Fantastic Beasts," but Heard believes he's trying to duck sitting for a deposition.

According to documents obtained by Deadline, Amber Heard's attorneys are not letting Depp off the hook for a chance to be grilled:

"Defendant is forced to bring this motion after extensive efforts to obtain the deposition of Plaintiff, even after providing a two-month Notice of Deposition, asking for locations and dates for Mr. Depp prior to his filming, seeking discovery to ascertain Mr. Depp’s exact filming schedule, and finally being told that the Plaintiff in this action, suing Defendant for $50 million, will not make himself available for deposition until the filming of Fantastic Beasts is complete, sometime late February 2021, or possibly later," a recently filed document stated.
