Nastia Liukin is one cowboy hat away from the Honkytonk. The 30-year-old former Olympic gymnast updated her Instagram on Wednesday with a giant shoutout to TV series "Yellowstone" as she soaked up the great Montana outdoors – Nastia's updates have been steadily documenting her Big Sky Country travels, with the Moscow-born star already updating from isolated highways and balancing her lithe body in fields.

Nastia's post today, whacking in a cowboy hat for a little YeeHaw, came with a joking reference to her "new friends" – all the animals in the background. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photo. Nastia, who retired from professional gymnastics aged just 22 and recently clapped back over not being too old to wear a leotard, was channeling a very non-gymnast vibe here. The blonde, followed by 1 million on IG, was resting her slender frame while parked on wooden tree trunks, seen gazing out over stunning fields.

The wardrobe, giving country life a giant shout-out, came as one pair of ripped blue Frame jeans, a loose Free People denim shirt, plus chunky boots, a red neckerchief, plus shades and a black cowboy hat.

A caption from Nastia shouted out "Yellowstone," reading: "Me and all my new friends... slash my audition pic for @yellowstone since they film just up the road from our home here ?."

The Texas-based star, who also briefly lived in Louisiana after leaving Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union, has not been having it easy in the comments section of late. When a troll recently told Nastia that seeing "Californian" celebrities coming to Montana "only to do a western/country/cowgirl/cowboy photo shoot" was "disappointing," Nastia clapped back.

Nastia had fired back, writing: "Not a Californian :) we actually own a home here in your / our beautiful state that we love so much."

And fans aren't forgetting it. A witty one swooped into the comments section for this post, writing:

"Nice, but just remember you're a Texan first, maybe a Montanan second, and hopefully a Californian never! (The C word is swear word around these parts)?."

Nastia might frolick around fields for scenic photos, but the 2008 all-around Olympic champion has plenty going on.

Nastia, fresh from wowing her followers with extended and swayback legs as she "brought bubble baths back" for an Olay promo, is also hustling big-time with her own collab. Just today, the star revealed going through eight formulas to get her Celery Green Cream just right as she partners up with Volition Beauty.

"My goal was to create a moisturizer that you could use year round, no matter what season or climate you are in," Nastia wrote while posing barefoot on floors and with a jar of the magic stuff.
