One of the OG ‘007’ agents believes the Australian-native has what it takes to take over the coveted role.

Daniel Craig has hung up his “Bond shoes,” which means there’s a spot available and shoes that need to be filled.

Fellow Australian, George Lazenby, believes Hemsworth has the guts, arrogance and confidence it takes to be James Bond.

Take it from him, he was passed down the “007” torch from Sean Connery in 1983.

Lazenby told TMZ that Hemsworth has the acting resume worthy of the next MI-6 agent. He also believes the ex-husband of Miley Cyrus has enough skill and stealth with media attention and scrutiny to handle the double agent role.

Veteran "Bond" Actor Believes Liam Has What It Takes

The former Bond actor told the outlet that Hemsworth is young enough that he could play the role of JB for the next decade and still maintain his handsome, youthful look.

Speaking from experience, Lazenbury did say that the next James Bond HAS to be “crazy enough, arrogant enough, confident enough, ambitious enough to take on the role.”

Lazenbury believes Hemsworth checks all of these boxes… in the best way possible.

Other actors rumored to possibly take over the role of JB include Aaron Taylor-Johnson from “Bullet Train” and “Emily in Paris” hunk, Lucien Laviscount.

In addition to potentially taking over the role of James Bond, Hemsworth is happy in love with his girlfriend Gabriella Brooks.

The Blast previously reported on their red carpet debut following rumors of a breakup.

The Australian-native walked the red carpet on Tuesday, November 15th, for his new film, “Poker Face.”

The premiere was held in Sydney, Australia at the Hoyts Entertainment Quarter. While he kept a cool and calm demeanor, the actor shocked paparazzi and fans by walking the red carpet with his girlfriend by his side.

This marked the couple’s red carpet debut and their first sighting since breakup rumors began circulating in August.

Hemsworth and Brooks looked absolutely stunning at the “Poker Face” premiere with the actor donning a sleek, black suit, while his lady love wore a gold knit turtleneck dress.

His sister-in-law, Elsa Patakay, also stars in the film and attended the premiere down under.

In August, reports began circulating about the couple having relationship problems.

In Touch Weekly reported the couple split after three years of dating. The outlet spoke to a source close to the couple who revealed Hemsworth ended things a “couple of months ago” and his former flame is “heartbroken.”

“He didn’t want to be tied down and work has picked up since the pandemic ended,” the source continued.

Hemsworth and Brooks began dating while he was going through his divorce from Cyrus. They’ve been seriously dating since 2019.

In March, the singer revealed her seven-month marriage to the Aussie was a “f**king disaster.”

The couple was together for nearly a decade after meeting on the set of “The Last Song” and falling in love.

The on and off relationship progressed till they got engaged in 2012 but called the entire relationship off in 2013.

To the joy of fans, they came back together in 2016, and by 2018, the dreadful fire which took their Malibu home happened. The couple tied the knot by December that year.

The marriage lasted barely a year before the two divorced, and Cyrus recently revealed what she thought of the entire time. She called the marriage “a f**king disaster” while wishing a gay couple she brought on stage a happy married life.
