Chanel West Coast Pays Tribute To 'The GOAT' Lil Wayne With Stylish Throwback Pic

Chanel West Coast is eternally grateful for all the love and support she's received from Lil Wayne!

The "Ridiculousness" star paid tribute to her fellow rapper on his 38th birthday. Chanel penned an emotional message where she praised Weezy for his amazing artistry and thanked him for always supporting her career. Her words were very sweet but so was the fantastic throwback pic she shared alongside her message. Wayne flashed a peace sign with a deer in the headlights stare while Chanel wore a stylish pair of parachute pants and a matching top.

The rapper's message really shows how much Weezy's music has influenced her life.

"Happy Bday @liltunechi! Thank you for believing in me when so many have doubted me! You are truly the GOAT and where that term even came from! (Facts) Hip-hop and music period owes so much to you????," Chanel captioned the throwback pic.

"This pic is from one of the greatest nights of my life and I’ll never forget it! Thank you for being such an amazing human and artist! Hope you had a dope bday! Love you for life! ??," she concluded.

For those who don't know, Weezy was the one who originally put Chanel on when it comes to hip-hop. He signed her to Young Money Entertainment in 2012 and she released her mixtape, "Now You Know" that featured all of Wayne's famous friends.

She expressed her gratitude to the star during a 2013 interview with Billboard.

"He gives you the freedom to do what you want and be creative and then he gives his official approval later on," she told the music magazine at the time.

She went on to describe meeting Weezy for the first time.

"I went to Miami, played him my music, and I just remember him after my one song… I played him a track and he sat back and said, 'Man that shit was stupid.' I was like, ‘Yo. Wanye thought that shit was stupid.’ As soon as he said that, I knew I was in."

Although Lil Wayne and Chanel would make an amazing power couple, the 38-year-old rapper is madly in love and is finally flaunting it on the gram for the first time. In the past, Wayne has never been seen on Instagram with a lady friend but his new relationship with the model, Denise Bidot must be the real deal.

She also shared a special post to mark his birthday and called him her "best friend."

"Happy Birthday to the man who managed to steal my heart during a pandemic. These past 5 months have been filled with more love, passion and laughter than i ever thought possible. You’re my best friend, my lover, and way more than a dream come true. Here’s to celebrating you today and every day baby!! I LOVE YOU ???," Denise wrote.

BTW, they are currently enjoying a tropical vacation in the Dominican Republic... not a bad birthday!

Some haters were quick to accuse the rapper of clout chasing since she shared a sweet pic of Weezy. The notion that she is inauthentic really bothers her and she decided to lash out at the haters via her IG story.

"I don't do anything for clout or attention. I do everything out of pure love," she wrote.

"Love of music, love of people, love of life. ETC." she continued. "While you try to find the negative in me, more positivity is coming my way and exuding from me."
