In the wake of excerpts from his controversial memoir Spare, Prince Harry has reportedly been written off of his father, King Charles III's Coronation script. King Charles ascended to the throne late last year following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, on September 8, 2022.
In Harry's memoir, he notably accuses Prince William, his brother, of a number of things, including physically attacking him. While the royal family has remained silent, William was reportedly left "seething" by the accusations, and Harry will no longer be involved in his father's coronation in an official capacity.

Prince Harry Has Been Written Out Of King Charles' CoronationÂ
According to the Sunday Times, Prince Harry will have no role in his father's forthcoming coronation. In a tweet, an editor for the news outlet penned, "Prince Harry has been written out of the script for the Coronation, with no official role in the service if he attends."
"Breaking with tradition, Charles will scrap royal dukes kneeling and paying homage to the monarch. Only William will perform that role," it continued.
King Charles' coronation is set to be conducted on Saturday, May 6 this year, at Westminster Abbey in London, Buckingham Palace. Besides King Charles, Camilla the Queen Consort will also be crowned at the event.
Prince William Angry At Prince Harry's Comments
William is reportedly "burning with anger" following Harry's accusations via his yet unreleased memoir. According to Sunday Times, sources close to the Royal claim that despite his anger, William is overrun with sadness and anxiety over Harry's actions.
"[William] won't retaliate, he never would, because he's dignified and unbelievably loyal," they said, per Daily Mail. "It's cruel, cowardly, and so sad for William to keep taking the punches. He's keeping quiet for the good of his family and the country."
A separate source explained, "He's anxious, and he's sad - he's concentrating on his wife and his children... He's handling it so well on the outside; inside he's burning."
Royal expert Katie Nicholl also told Page Six that the Prince of Wales was "seething" and was unlikely to forgive his brother. "William's privately seething and devastated by what Harry has done. And just cannot forgive Harry for the things that he's written," she said.
Reconciliation Not In The Horizon For The Brothers
Nicholl further stated that the contents of Spare took the Royal family by surprise because while they expected shock material, they were not prepared for the "level of detail and just how far Harry has gone in all of this."
As a result, the Royal expert claimed that Harry's previous comments about a possible reconciliation with his family were very likely out the window. The Royal had previously revealed that he wanted to hash things out with his brother and father; however, his attempts were met with no response.
"The idea that he wants his father and his brother back just seems so incongruous with how he is behaving and what he's saying," Nicholl said. "To paint such an unflattering picture of the royal family and a very unsavory side of his brother and an uncaring side of his father…. It just does not appear to be the actions of a man trying to reconcile with his estranged family."
Prince Harry Accused William Of Attacking Him
In a part of his memoir, Harry recalls a time he and William got engaged in an argument that ended with the heir grabbing his collar and tossing him to the floor. According to the Duke of Sussex, he landed on a dog bowl and broke it, causing him to have "scrapes and bruises" on his back.
"It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor," the father of two recalled, per Page Six.
"I landed on the dog's bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out."
The event allegedly took place in 2019, shortly before Megxit, in the kitchen area of Harry's Nottingham Cottage, Kensington Palace. Harry claimed the fight broke out after William called Meghan "rude," "difficult," and "abrasive." The ensuing argument resulted in a screaming match that further evolved into a physical altercation.
