Alyssa Scott continues to honor and remember her beloved son, Zen, reminding the world that he will forever remain a part of her life. The toddler, whom she welcomed with Nick Cannon, passed away at five months from brain cancer.

The model, who is currently basking in the newfound joy of welcoming her baby daughter, Halo Marie Cannon, into the world, got candid about the bittersweet feeling of clearing late Zen's belongings to make room for her little girl.

Alyssa Scott Wanted To Have A Son To Feel Comforted

Scott recently took to her Instagram Story to reveal to carry along her 282,000 followers on the tear-jerking journey of clearing out baby Zen's dresser. She shared a snap of the late toddler's dresser, which featured gold artistic strokes on a white background.

On the dresser were several of Zen's outfits folded and arranged alongside a white lamp. The doting mother wrote in the accompanying caption, "Well, today is the day I had to pack up Zen's dresser. Thinking I was going to have a boy brought me some comfort because I didn't think I would have to face this part. But it's time to make room for Halo ? and it's going to be okay.

She concluded her heart-melting caption, writing, "Girls rock blue too! So this is what stays ?." In a follow-up slide, Scott shared a sweet image of her late son in all of his glory, donning an adorable patterned shirt with khaki shorts. He stared lovingly into the camera as he lay peacefully in bed.

"All of his outfits hold a memory. I miss him every minute," Scott emotionally captioned the post.

Scott Recalls How Late Zen Was Present For his Sister's Delivery

After the heartbreaking loss of Scott and Cannon suffered due to Zen's passing, the pair were blessed with another bundle of joy. In late October, the Instagram influencer debuted her baby bump to the delight of fans and late revealed that the "Wild N' Out" was the father.

On December 14, their daughter Halo Marie was born, and the new parents celebrated the thrilling news with an update on social media. The doting mother incorporated her beloved late son in the beautiful announcement, unveiling a tattoo she drew in his honor.

In a moving video, Scott detailed her pregnancy journey until the delivery day, where an ecstatic Cannon received his baby daughter from the womb. "December 14 2022. Our lives are forever changed ❤️Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us, he shows me signs everyday. I will hold onto this memory forever," the model wrote.

The mother-of-three continued, "I will remember the sound of Nick's voice saying “it’s a girl” and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face. I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you Halo Marie Cannon! ?"

In a follow-up update on her Instagram Story days after, Scott detailed her magical delivery and how she knew Zen was with her even from the ride to the hospital.  She posted a picture that was taken in the evening, which displayed a stunning view of the city surrounded by water.

Attaching a caption to the picture, she wrote, “The drive to the hospital was so quiet and peaceful. There was a meteor shower, and we saw shooting stars the entire way ✨.”

In another slide displayed on her story, the happy mom shared a short clip taken in the thick of the night and featured breathtaking fireworks that ascended into the sky displaying star-like shapes and different bright colors. She captioned the post, "The model, while appreciating the awesome view, remembered her late son and wrote, “then later that night from our room.. ?? I just know my boy was celebrating."
