Fans Believe Kanye West Is In Ghana, West Africa
Following reports that West couldn't be found, the rapper's fans took to social media to speculate his whereabouts. West's "missing" rumors took off after a popular Twitter account made a claim, quoting his former business manager, Thomas St john, in the process.
"Kanye West has reportedly been missing and unable to find [sic] for weeks, according to his ex-business manager," the viral tweet read.
Now, after days of speculation, many fans believe the controversial rapper might be in West Africa, Ghana. According to unfounded rumors online, West is attending Chance The Rapper's Black Star Line festival in the country as a special guest artist.
A fan, happy at the idea of having West in their country, wrote, "Kanye West in Ghana. Ghana would be great again." Another fan claimed, "I feel like Kanye west is already in Ghana he is just waiting to make a grand entrance to beat Meek Mill."
One very happy fan tweeted, "Kanye west being the surprise art [sic] at the festival is a big win for Ghana."
Neither Chance nor West has confirmed the rumors of his involvement in the inaugural music festival.
Kanye West Allegedly Went Missing
Thomas St. John, West's former business manager, has claimed that the singer owes him money, and the two parties have been engaged in legal wrangling as a result.
He claimed West failed to pay him for his 18-month guaranteed term as his senior financial advisor and Chief Financial Officer.
The court documents obtained by TheSun reveal that he was supposed to be paid $300,000 per month but only ended up working for three months, for which he allegedly did not receive payments.
According to the news outlet, St. John sued the "Donda" star for $4.5 million and claims he's been looking for West to serve him with the necessary legal documents, and he also believes West doesn't have an attorney.
The court document read: "...We have not been able to serve defendants through their counsel. As a general matter, we have had difficulty confirming the best current address of Kanye West."
St. John is now asking the court to extend the time to serve West and the other defendant, Yeezy LLC, with court documents. He's seeking for it to be extended until the end of March.
Kanye West Made Several Antisemitic Statements
In a series of interviews and public appearances last year, the music mogul made several rash antisemitic remarks.
West shared a screenshot of a conversation with fellow artist Sean "Diddy" Combs, in which he declared that he would use Combs "as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me."
Prior to this, the music mogul tweeted that he would go "death con 3 on Jewish people," an apparent misspelling of "defcon." The rapper claimed that doing so was not antisemitic because "black people are actually Jews..."

The needle that broke the camel's back for the rapper was an interview where he claimed that he could "say Antisemitic sh*t" and that his former brand partner, Adidas, would not be able to do anything about it. Shortly after this clip went viral, West got dropped by the shoe giants, immediately losing his billionaire status.
The Rapper Lost His Billionaire StatusÂ
Adidas said it would examine its partnership with the rapper after he made several antisemitic claims, this caused the brand to come under heavy criticism for its refusal to cut ties with the artist immediately.
All that changed when West stated that he could be as antisemitic as he liked, and they [Adidas] wouldn't do anything about it. The shoe giants quickly dropped him from his highly lucrative multi-year deal and paused the production of Yeezy sneakers.
Several other businesses and brands, including Gap, Vogue, Foot Locker, and high-end fashion label Balenciaga, also severed connections with him.
Per Forbes, West lost most of his $2 billion wealth, including the $1.5 billion from his Adidas deal, after getting dropped by his top business collaborators.
According to the popular business magazine, the rapper is presently worth $400.1 million.
