Chris Evans and Alba Baptista certainly had fun scaring each other over the course of 2022, as evident from the adorable video the actor posted to his Instagram. The footage showed Evans and Baptista pranking each other with different tricks in various locations.
Days before his relationship with Baptista went public, Evans was named People's Sexiest Man Alive In 2022. In the cover story interview, he spoke about being content with life right now and focusing more on his family.
Evans also talked about the importance of building a family and said he's gotten better as a romantic partner with age. The actor noted the value of being able to apologize, stay calm and listen, especially in vulnerable moments.

On Friday, Evans shared a video compilation of special moments from his year with Baptista. The video was of eight times he and the actress have scared each other successfully over their past year together. He posted the video to his Instagram Story and captioned it, "A look back at 2022," with three black heart emojis.
The video featured various moments from their home and hotel rooms, and by the end, Baptista had seemingly caught on to Evans' pranks. At a point in the adorable clip, the "Gray Man" actor tried to scare her as she passed a hallway, and Baptista laughed and screamed, "I knew it!"

The video post is the first time Evans has posted Baptista or anything about their relationship on social media. The news of their relationship only broke last November after Page Six published several shots of the couple basking in their romance and getting cozy.
Some of the pictures showed Evans and Baptista walking through Central Park, holding hands, and keeping a low profile with face masks and matching glasses. When the images broke, a source revealed to People magzine that they've been dating for "over a year" and confirmed the relationship is serious.
The source said, "They are in love, and Chris has never been happier." They also added that Baptista had met Evans' inner circle, who "adore her" and support the relationship. Evans was previously linked to several actresses, including Jessica Biel, Jennifer Slate, and Selena Gomez.
He Was Named People's 2022 Sexiest Man Alive
A few days before Evans' relationship with Baptista was revealed to the public, the "Avengers: Infinity War" was named People's 2022 Sexiest Man Alive. In the cover story interview, he spoke about setting down and starting his own family, saying he's "very content" with life.
Evans also spoke about focusing on his work-life balance and taking lots of free time to make memories with his loved ones. The "Gifted" actor said, "That's absolutely something I want: wife, kids, and building a family."
He continued, "When you read about most of the best artists, whether it's actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn't the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared."

Evans also said that he thinks that with age, he's really improved as a romantic partner, saying that the years helped him learn what's helpful in relationships and what's not. He said, "We all have patterns, hang-ups, or baggage that repeat and echo, so I've really been able to kind of identify where I need improvement and what works."
The "Before We Go" actor also spoke about the "value and strength" behind being able to say "I'm sorry." Evens said, "If you're able in those vulnerable moments to stay calm and listen, and say you're sorry even if you don't think you've done anything wrong because it's not from your perspective it's from the other person's, I think that opens up a door in a very healthy way."
