'The Right Decision'
In an interview with People, Rinna's husband, Hamlin, discussed his wife's decision to end her long-running feature in the reality series "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
The Days of Our Lives actress was a vital part of the Bravo show for eight seasons, starring alongside other reality stars like Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Erika Jayne, and Sutton Stracke.
"[It was the] correct decision, the right decision to make at this point after eight years," the "Clash of the Titans" star told the publication. "I think she took it as far as she could take it, and she elevated the show."
On why the reality star chose to call it quits, the 71-year-old actor hinted that Rinna became weary of the routine nature of the job. "Now it's time to move on," said Hamlin, who has been married to Rinna since 1997. "Eight years is a long time to do anything, the same thing over and over again. It's time to move along."
'It Has Been A Fun Eight-Year Run'
Rinna had announced her exit from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" a day before her husband shared his view.
In a similar interview with People, the actress gave gratitude to the cast and crew of the reality series for the fun memories they have shared over the years.
"This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career, and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series," Rinna announced at the time per Page Six.
She added, "It has been a fun eight-year run, and I am excited for what is to come!"
Rinna chose to call time on her feature in "RHOBH" shortly after her contract expired at the end of Season 12. Her final season was quite tumultuous since she got into several fights, especially with Kathy Hilton.
Erika Jayne And Andy Cohen On Lisa Rinna's Departure
Following the news of her departure, Jayne, who is close friends with Rinna, told TMZ that the Rinna Beauty founder was irreplaceable, adding, "she's the f**king GOAT."
Doubling down on her remark, Jayne shared that everyone involved in the next season will be affected by her absence.
"I'm going to miss Lisa very much," she confessed. "I mean, obviously, I think she's a very close friend of mine in my personal life, so you know, I will still see her, but she will be missed, and I think everyone will feel it."
Bravo showrunner Andy Cohen also had some words to say about Rinna's departure, and he took to Instagram to share them.
"An iconic run," Cohen captioned an animated picture of Rinna highlighting different iconic moments from her time on the show.
Fans Have Been Speculating About Lisa Rinna's Exit From 'RHOBH'
Many viewers were shocked when it was announced that the contentious reality star was quitting the show, but others had been whispering about it for months.
In August, Rinna reflected on her life over the years and went on a roll, deleting most of her "RHOBH"-related Instagram snaps.
"I was Lisa F**king Rinna before HW and I'll be Lisa F**king Rinna After," the actress wrote on Instagram as the caption to a throwback image from an event, per Page Six.
At the time, Rinna's weird behavior made fans drop comments about her leaving, such as "Lisa Rinna is over," and "Lisa Rinna deleting all things #RHOBH on Instagram is making me actually believe she is getting fired."
In the meantime, Rinna is yet to disclose her plans for the future, having exited the Bravo reality series.
