Salma Hayek Snaps Her Sunglasses Toes In Clever Pool Shots

Salma Hayek's knack for getting her sunglasses to portray stuff is on another level. The "Like A Boss" actress, 54, has already made headlines this year for capturing the beetle that landed on her shades in a poolside moment – the whole "what my shades can do" business is back for round two.

Salma, fresh from making swimsuit headlines galore as she recreated a 1999 bikini shoot, updated her Instagram ahead of the weekend with a little poolside action featuring a lot of toes. Check it out below.

Scroll for the photos. They showed Salma in what many people would call straight selfie mode. The Mexican, seen poolside, was in focus with sunny parasols blurred behind her. Salma was shot up close and in reflective shades, with the blue-tinted and metallic eyewear taking in some leg reflection – that's where the star's 16 million Instagram followers started to see the toe action.

A quick swipe to the right showed Salma shot even closer up. It was basically just the left lens here, with the "Frida" star's left foot and manicured toenails clearly visible.

"This is not a selfie, I’m trying to take a picture of my #toes."

"No estoy tomando un selfie, estoy tratando de tomar una foto de los dedos de mis #pies," Salma added in Spanish, then offering out the French version:

"Ceci n’est pas un selfie, j’essaye de prendre une photo de mes #orteils.

Salma's headline-making this month has not been dull. While September 2 saw the star front media outlets for looking half her age as she rung in 54 years in a skintight swimsuit and skirt while in Greece, more recent stories have seen Salma in the news for recreating her 1999 H&M swimwear campaign.

"2020: More than 20 years after my last post. Ready for the weekend! Have a great #Friday!" Salma wrote seven days ago.

Salma actually received a comment from "Hannibal" actor Anthony Hopkins for her killer birthday shot. Likewise from stars including Orlando Bloom and Charlize Theron. The actress has, however, herself been shouting out a very well-known face. Just this week, Salma joked that she was first when it comes to high ponytails, posting a photo of herself alongside "thank u, next" singer Ariana Grande.
