Kaley Cuoco Throws On Sweats to Get Hugs from Famous Dog in NYC

Kaley Cuoco is making the best of her time in New York, in between filming her upcoming HBO Max series. The former "Big Bang Theory" star just got to meet one of her Instagram idols, a famous pup named Bug who's snuggly hugs and kisses have netted her over 75,000 followers on social media. Cuoco shared snaps with the famed Pit Bull, known for being a rescue and going viral on social media because of a love of giving people hugs.

Cuoco posed for some shots with Bug after a park meetup in NYC.

"I have been obsessed with this girl for awhile," Cuoco captioned her photo, and explained that Bug reminds her of a "Princess" version of her own dog, Norman.

Bug's owner, Marisa Grimshaw, wrote about the meetup on Instagram and thanked the "Big Bang Theory" star for her being an advocate for rescues and pit bulls.

"Bug had the absolute honor of meeting @kaleycuoco today and giving her #ahugfrombug ? In addition to being an incredible actress & producer, Kaley is a huge animal welfare & rescue advocate. She is consistently using her voice & platform to spread awareness & help animals in need, & we are forever grateful for the work she does!"

Grimshaw also admitted, "I will never be as cool as my dog & I’m ok with that."

Cuoco later went on social media and thanked Bug for the cuddle session, writing, "I was the happiest of all!! Thank you for the snuggle time!!!!"

Caring for rescued animals is a big part of "The Flight Attendant" star's life, and she even brought along her own dog, Dumpy, to stay in New York while she wrapped up the first season of her TV series.

Along with taking Dumpy for walks around the city while in a stroller, and preparing tiny sausages for his daily breakfast, Cuoco even created an Instagram page for Dumpy.

Nothing to slouch at, Dumpy has already amassed over 50,000 followers on Instagram, with fans tuning in to his daily antics out in New York ... and also reveling in all of the naps he takes.

According to a description of Dumpy's page, "I’m a tiny rescued senior whose life changed over night! My mom is @kaleycuoco, she never misses a moment to document hilarious adventures! Woof woof!"

Being in New York has been a whirlwind of emotions for Kaley Cuoco, as she recently shared a moment when she was reminded of her first real acting jobs. It turns out her dressing room for "The Flight Attendant" is near a movie poster for the old Jennifer Aniston movie, "Picture Perfect," and Cuoco apparently had a childhood role.

"First day at our new stages.. walked to my dressing room and what movie poster do I see framed right outside my door? ‘Picture Perfect’ starring @jenniferaniston .. little known fact this was one of the first ‘parts’ I was ever cast in as a kid.. I was the last name in the credits (credited as ‘little girl’).. when I saw the movie , they had cut my one line, but all I remember is spending the entire day convincing myself to tell Jen how much I loved her," Cuoco wrote about the flood of memories.
