Aspiring chef Brooklyn Peltz Beckham recently received a bashing online after posting a tutorial for a meal many did not find appealing. The online personality is known for sharing a variety of recipes with his spin on his Instagram page.

While he previously admitted that he wasn't a professional chef, at least not yet, Brooklyn recently started his online "Cookin' With Brooklyn," which will feature him preparing various meals on camera. He reportedly hired a crew of 62 members at the cost of $100,000 to film him while making his meals.

After being slammed online for preparing "raw" looking beef, his mother Victoria Beckham came to his defense, stating that it was cooked "rare."

Brooklyn Beckham Posted Beef Roast Cooking Tutorial

Brooklyn recently received online criticism after preparing a beef roast which most said was still raw and undercooked. He posted a video displaying his cooking skills by putting his spin, "Michelin" style, on a traditional Sunday dinner.

The cooking clip was posted to Instagram on Wednesday, and Kevin Lee, a former Michelin chef, joined Brooklyn in the tutorial. He started the meal by slathering an alarming amount of butter on a large piece of meat in addition to garlic and other herbs. He then put the meal in the oven and turned to work on some potatoes.

The potatoes were coated in beef fat and oil in a bid to make them "really crispy." He also made some Yorkshire puddings to help complement the dish. Butter was again used while cooking the carrots and making a glaze for the vegetables.

After plating the meal, Brooklyn took a bite and said, "Just like they have it in England. The best Sunday roast." Several fans who watched the video felt differently and said as much. They expressed concern about the sheer amount of butter and oil the meat and vegetables consumed and pointed out that it was still mostly raw after getting out of the oven.

Some comments read, "A good vet could bring that back to life," "Heart attack on a plate," and "Way too much oil." A follower further claimed that the meal was so undercooked that Brooklyn "might as well bite the cow while it's grazing."

One fan commented, "Everything is floating in grease! Butter & waaayyy toooo much salt in everything. definitely NOT healthy for us."

"That joint is way too raw. Should be pink in the middle, not the whole joint! Spuds look nice thou," another read.

Some fans loved the look of the meal but still had an issue with the "sheer amount" of butter used in preparing it.

In defense of her son, Victoria reshared the video on her IG stories and pointed out that it's "rare" and now "raw." Per Page Six, the former Spice Girls member also joked that she would attempt to prepare the hearty meal for his dad and siblings.

While there were several negative comments on his cooking post, Brooklyn had his own share of supporters who trooped in to ask that people stop the criticisms and scroll past if they were dissatisfied with the meal. Some even went on to commend the chefs on their meal and asked that the recipe be shared.

Never too much, that looks amazing and perfect pink.. so many jelous [sic] comments in the section by people who probs burn beans on toast," another read.

"DAMN... EVERYONE has something negative to say," a follower commented. "Looks delicious….. big news to ppl that have never worked at a restaurant or cooked butter = toasty .…..caramelized deliciousness," Another fan wrote, applauding the young chef.

Brooklyn Beckham Started Cooking Online A Few Years Ago

Brooklyn started posting videos of himself cooking on his Instagram page a few years ago. The social media personality regularly shared tips on simple meals like sandwiches and burgers with his millions of followers. Despite this, he revealed earlier that he was not a professional chef and was yet to fully figure out what he wanted to do in his life.

"I'm not a professional chef – at all," Brooklyn told Bustle. "I've never said that. I never would say that. Obviously, my dad [David Beckham] knew what he was doing at a very young age. I've only been doing cooking for not even three years."

The social media personality continued, "It's okay to be 25, 26, or even 30 and not know what you're doing yet. You know what I mean?"
