Jessica Simpson Flaunts Massive 100-Pound Weight Loss While Cashing In

Jessica Simpson literally got richer as she flaunted her headline-making 100-pound weight loss ahead of the weekend. The 40-year-old actress, singer, author, and clothing designer – already seeing a pandemic spike in her "Open Book" sales – updated her Instagram on Friday to thank fans for tuning into her appearance on HSN with mom Tina.

Jessica, who famously dropped her 100 pounds in just six months after welcoming third baby Birdie Mae last year, had her killer and whittled-down waistline on show. Check it out below, plus how this hard-hitting businesswoman made money during the airing.

Scroll for the latest shot. The above one dates back to 2019, when Jessica admitted she'd tipped the scales at 240 pounds – just this month, though, the "Dukes of Hazzard" star confessed the figure was closer to 300 pounds and "in the high two-hundreds."

The photo showed Jessica posing amid racks of her clothing, with mom Tina, and backed by a "Jessica Simpson" sign. The mom of three, wearing a slinky, plunging, and leopard-print midi dress, also rocked matching high heels, both from her fall collection. She looked absolutely gorgeous.

The replies said it all. Fans are in love with the blonde's super-stylish and largely-affordable pieces – and her candid memoir.

Jessica's brand, now including bed linens with 8-year-old daughter Maxwell behind the designs, got the thumbs-up all-around.

"Loved seeing you and your Momma on tv @jessicasimpson everything was so cute I ended up buying the plaid duster and the leopard dress that your wearing!!!???," one fan wrote.

Another, claiming they're still wearing the JS dress they bought "6 years ago," accompanied a fan complaining that the footwear was sold out. Quick to swoop in, and showing excellent customer service, was the JS Instagram account, urging the fan to "sign up for a restock."

Jessica, whose latest collection includes items such as the $59 Pull-On Flare pants, $69 Lori Duster Shirt, plus plenty of those Daisy Dukes seen on Jessica herself lately, has opened up on her empire. Specifically, on people finding themselves pleasantly surprised by the apparel. In 2017, Simpson told CBS:

"People are shocked that they like my brand. Maybe 'cause it's not that expensive? Or maybe because I was a cheesy pop star back in the day? I have no idea. But you're gonna like my shoes, damn it!"
