Chris D’Elia is opening up about his recent trip to rehab.
The stand-up comedian revealed that he went to rehab in November through December as part of his sex addiction recovery.
During his January 3rd “Congratulations” podcast episode titled, “Rehab Chronicles, D’Elia said, “Nobody knows about this but I went to rehab… I went to rehab, I was there for a month. I went back in November and we pre-record a lot of this s**t [podcast episodes].”
D’Elia admitted he should’ve gone to rehab a long time ago.

But hey, better late than never.
“And [I] just shoulda done it this whole time honestly. Shoulda done it years ago. [I] didn’t, because I had excuses in my head about Covid and s**t and all that, but yeah. I did it because I had to, you know, for my addiction and all that s**t,” he said. “I need to be present, but my god it was a trauma-based thing that I went to and one of the best in the world. And, holy f**king s**t man, really the work that they do there is absolutely amazing. I was there and I was scared as s**t.”
After being there for just two weeks, the comedian came to the realization that “Oh, everybody should do this.”
He described his work in rehab as sitting in a chair, closing his eyes and just talking.

“You know who else you talk to… you close your EYES and you talk to YOU AS A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD. OH SHIT DUDE… the f**king tears, bro. And, it was, it was transformative, dude. It was so unbelievable, dude,” D’Elia admitted.
The 42-year-old said he made lifelong friends during the month-long stay.

The timing of this podcast episode’s release is interesting, because two weeks ago, a comedian named Kyle Anderson published an incriminating YouTube video titled, “The Chris D’Elia Problem.”
In the nearly hour-long video, Anderson goes into detail about sexual assault and exploitation accusations D’Elia was hit with in the past.
D’Elia posted an apology video on February 19, 2021, after several lawsuits alleging sexual assault, grooming and exploitation came to life.

He spoke to four women who allegedly had sexual encounters with the comedian while underage, and a few of them also alleged D’Elia actually wanted to start his own “sex” cult.
Their names or pseudonyms are “Christine & K”, “June”, “Jessica” and “Jazzmyn.”
One female victim Anderson spoke, Jazzmyn, claimed she was in a relationship with him from “March of 2020 to April of 2022. Nothing ever changed, even when he posted the apology video.”
Mind you, D’Elia married his longtime fiancé, Kristin, just two months after their relationship ended in April.

She also shared actual phone conversations between her and D’Elia with Anderson, which were also included in the video.
Jazzmyn told Anderson, “He was dead serious about his, like, cult. He legitimately wanted it to be like a cult. Like he wanted, that was his big dream was to have at least like a couple of his girls live together. Basically, have a harem.”
She also had a conversation with D’Elia’s wife Kristin about everything including the different pseudonym Snapchat accounts he’s had and currently has. Jazzmyn said D’Elia likes to record him doing stuff with “his girls,” and that he keeps the content on his home computer.

“His wife is sitting there with all this proof at her hands, at her fingertips and she just can’t seem to get her hands on it,” Jazzmyn explained to Anderson.
Anderson also spoke to D’Elia’s former tour manager who said, “When you have someone close to you who is a monster, but you don’t see it at the time. He wears his mask extremely well… The Chris situation is on the Bill Cosby level in my opinion.”
