Sarah Hyland & Husband Wells Adams Welcomed 2023 With 'The Whackiest Adventures'

Sarah Hyland and her husband, Wells Adams, with whom she tied the knot last August, may have had the wildest new year celebrations, and we are here for it!

The couple was all about having the best time with friends and loved ones and did not hold back the excitement while ushering in 2023.

Unsurprisingly, they let their numerous fans in on the joyous moments by going back in time with photographs, listing a few interesting details about their holidays, and acknowledging the wonderful people they spent it with.  

Using a joint Instagram post, the parried duo showed how much fun they had during New Year's Eve and on the first day of 2023 in Tahoe.

"A blizzard, a blackout, and a ghost named Elizabeth," they wrote in the caption. "Welcomed in 2023 with the whackiest adventures and the BEST people! I miss them already."

In the pictures, Hyland and Adams could be seen with several companions who were clearly having the time of their lives, given their joyous expressions. The celeb couple was in the first shot of the collection, posing in the snow with trees in the background. They were bundled up against the weather and made comical faces at the camera.

In the next slide, still in the snow, the lovers took a selfie with their buddies, movie star Glen Powell, musician and actor Chord Overstreet, and artist Ciara Robinson.

Others who joined in the celebrations were Camelia Somers and Gigi Paris, as seen in the third picture, sitting on wooden floors indoors. More adorable pictures showed the group having dinner and striking amusing poses, including the eighth picture where Hyland looked fascinated with a massive tree as she could be seen hugging it.

In the penultimate slide featuring a video, the "Vampire Academy" actress locked lips with her husband to welcome in 2023 while their friends chanted "Happy New Year."  And in the last slide, she was captured with a shopping cart filled with lots of plastic bottled water, candles, and a couple of holiday items.

In no time, the couple's post gained thousands of reactions and gushing remarks on how perfect the group looked amid their merriment. "Cutest peeps," a fan penned while another exclaimed, "The wholesome content we need in 2023!!" 

One fan was concerned about the celebrators' safety, given the weather condition, and wrote, "With these storms here now, hopefully, you made it out of Tahoe already."

Some other commenters were more interested in Elizabeth the ghost, including one who begged for more information about her, while another declared, "Here for Elizabeth." Since the "See You in Valhalla" star and her partner wedded in August 2022, they never ceased to show how much they are in love on social media.

However, it wasn't until about four months later, at the People's Choice Awards, that they made their first red carpet appearance as a couple, as reported by The Blast. They showcased their stylishness at the nighttime ceremony by wearing matching black outfits, made more glamorous with their radiant smiles.

Hyland rocked a classy Vera Wang mini dress while Adams donned a black suit with a white round-neck undershirt. While posing for the camera, looking picture-perfect, the lovebirds flaunted their wedding rings with graceful expressions, and as expected, they shared romantic kisses for their fans to rave about.

Hyland and Adams suffered the heartbreaking loss of their adopted dog Carl last December, and they naturally paid a heartwarming tribute to the lovely furry family member on Instagram.

One of the pictures shared in the heart-melting upload showed the "Dirty Dancing" actress laying her head on Carl's body, while another was a snap of the hound and "The Bachelorette" alum cuddling. A Christmas image of the family was also included, and it featured Carl and another dog huddled with their pet parents in cute, matching Christmas-themed pajamas.

Taking to the caption, Hyland began, "Our gentle giant Carl, You were our protector, our best hug giver, and the light of our lives."

She continued, "Thank you for being the greatest friend anyone could ask for. I'll love you forever. You'll always be my best boy, dad's best friend, and Boo's first love. We'll cuddle in our sleep."
