Ashley Olsen Reportedly Tied The Knot With Longtime BF In Private Ceremony

Disney alum Ashley Olsen has allegedly tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend, Louis Eisner. Eisner is an artist and the son of well-known attorney Eric Eisner and jewelry designer Lisa Eisner.

The artist and Ashley reportedly started dating as early as October 2017 and were speculated to have gotten engaged in 2019. Before her relationship with Eisner, Ashley was involved with a number of high-profile relationships, one of which was with Columbia University football star turned film producer Matt Kaplan.

Ashley and Eisner have tied the knot after five years together. According to recent reports by Page Six, the couple put together a small private ceremony on December 28, with friends and family in attendance. The event was held in a private Bel-Air home.

Neither Ashley nor Eisner have said anything concerning the event; however, according to an insider, the ceremony went on till late in the night and had around "50 people or so total." Mary-Kate and Elizabeth Olsen, Ashley's sisters, were presumably among the guests.

The couple's relationship was made known to the public in October 2017. They are known to be fiercely private and have rarely been seen or photographed in public together.

After four years together, Ashley and Eisner made their red carpet debut in September 2021. The actress also sparked marriage rumors in June 2019 when she was seen with a gold wedding band on her ring finger. At the time, the duo was photographed in one of their rare outings at a movie and dinner date in Los Angeles.

The couple started dating after mutual high school friends in Los Angeles introduced them. They were friends for almost five years before finally making things romantic. While they were first spotted together at the Hammer Museum's Gala in the Garden in late 2017, a source claimed that they had officially started dating in early 2017.

Eisner shared a rare picture of Ashley last year where she could be seen carrying a black machete during a hike in the woods. He did not caption the photo and followed it up with a picture of himself on a log over a pond.

While Ashley seems to be swimming in marital bliss, the same can't be said for her twin sister Mary-Kate. The actress filed for divorce from her husband, Olivier Sarkozy, the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, in May 2020. She tried filing for a new divorce amid a moratorium on fresh cases brought on by the pandemic.

At the time, Mary-Kate alleged that her ex-husband ended their $29,000-per-month Gramercy Park pad lease, which left her stranded amid the COVID-19 health crisis.

After a lengthy divorce battle, the duo reached a settlement and finalized the separation in January 2021.  Mary-Kate lost her NYC townhouse in the settlement, which was priced at $11.5 million when it hit the market. While the divorce was ongoing, the actress stayed at a $325,000 Hamptons rental.

The Olsen sisters achieved fame at a young age; however, they have tried and succeeded in leading private, lowkey lives over the years. In June 2021, the sisters revealed that they were raised to be discreet and modest people regardless of their fate.

When asked about The Row, their fashion label's discreet style, Mary-Kate said to I-D, "We were raised to be discreet people." Ashley, however, noted that they also liked other "ornate" styles, and most times, they are reduced from there to a more simplistic design.

She said, "I think that potentially that's just our aesthetic, our design preference. But that doesn't mean that we don't also appreciate something truly ornate or maximal. Sometimes a collection even starts quite like that and then gets pared down. It doesn't always start from that simplistic place."
