Kelly Ripa has admitted that her plans to wear a super-short dress on "Live!" had to be abandoned after the 49-year-old herself deemed the number way too short. Kelly, fresh from admitting that her Wednesday pants were "too tight" and offering a 360-view as she confessed she could "barely" get them on, is back to delivering her trademark humor. The former "All My Children" actress, who has been holding down the fort while 45-year-old co-star Ryan Seacrest is sick, appeared in a video shared to the "Live!" Instagram. Check it out below.

Scroll for the video. The Thursday night-posted footage showed the mom of three on-set and holding a coffee while wearing a slinky, olive-colored, and conservative dress with a snazzy Gucci belt. The designer lover, who regularly wears brands including her beloved Gianvito Rossi heels, spoke into the camera saying:

"Um, I'm not supposed to be wearing this outfit....Uhhh, yeah. This is not what I was supposed...I have a lovely dress that I was supposed to wear, but when I sit down, it is SO short."

Kelly then talked underpants.

Kelly, then saying she was "wearing underpants," admitted: "Nobody needs to see that!"

The video, as part of the #KellysFashionFinder that's all over "Live!"'s IG, came captioned to let fans know Kelly was wearing an Adam Lippes dress, a Gucci belt, plus the signature Gianvito Rossi stilettos.

Fans have a giant weak spot for the blonde's fashion sense. "Very stunning and a classy look. ❤️the Gucci belt," one wrote, with another saying: "The olive looks awesome! ??"

More after the video, including the full hazmat suits Kelly and Ryan wore to return after 180 days of video streaming.

September marked Kelly and Ryan finally returning to the "Live" set after 180 days of video streaming their morning appearances from quarantine. While the two-some have been slammed for approaching the stage without wearing masks, they were definitely covered up as Kelly posted a shot of the duo in full hazmat suits, latex gloves, and World War II-style gas masks.

"It’s gonna be a minute, because we are used to shooting the show through a computer screen," Kelly told the audience. Then again, she joked she wouldn't return if she had to wear pants.

Kelly, meanwhile, showcased a little humor as she told fans she straight-up wouldn't consider returning to the set if she had to wear pants.

"I'm not coming back if I have to wear pants or bottoms of any kind. I like this from the waist up sort of thing that we're doing."

Kelly's pandemic headlines have been busy. The star, together with 48-year-old "Riverdale" actor husband Mark Consuelos and the couple's three kids, were quarantined in the Caribbean, with the couple then fronting media outlets as they graced People magazine's first ever Family Issue.
