Carrie Underwood is fronting media outlets right now for admitting she was a "dummy" at last night's ACM Awards. The 37-year-old country superstar and 2005 "American Idol" winner was the talk of the town for her extremely-leggy and buckle-adorned evening dress, but the "Southbound" singer's appearance was a headline-maker on two fronts – Carrie forgot to thank 2010-married husband Mike Fisher as she accepted her Entertainer of the Year award. Carrie's look has now gone viral, and yes, it showed off the rock-hard pins. Check it out below.

Scroll for the dress. Carrie, who credits her jaw-dropping legs to a workout life now seeing her selling both her "Find Your Path" book and its accompanying Fit52 app, had gone extra leggy with her look. She'd also gone glitzy. The CALIA by Carrie founder was snapped at the ACM Awards in a stunning, glittery, and slit black dress with five buckle details around the right thigh – and those muscles were on full show.
Carrie updated her Instagram to mark the achievement, but her night came with a "dummy" confession.

"First, I want to say that I’m a dummy for not mentioning my husband or my children in my acceptance speech," the star said, adding:
"You would think after this many years of seeing other people do speeches and giving some of my own, I would think of people that are important to me, so I’m sorry!"

Carrie, for whom awards are nothing new and with a staggering seven Grammys under her belt, also took to Instagram to mark the night, writing:
"Last night was a dream! Thanks @acmawards and, of course, fans for continuing to make some of my wildest dreams come true! ❤️❤️❤️ And congrats to all the winners, nominees and performers! I am forever grateful to be a part of this family called Country Music! ❤️❤️❤️ •"
She also posted a very leggy bedroom photo ahead of the soirée, which saw stars such as Taylor Swift trending on Twitter for their performances. Scroll for Instagram's thoughts on the legs.

Carrie and her killer pins were alive and well in the comments section – "That quad muscle though! ? Beauty, brains and class! Big fan!! ?" one fan wrote.
"Well damn! You know we all just zoomed in on that thigh muscle tho?," another added.
Carrie is also set to explode in November by releasing her first Christmas album entitled "My Gift." The cover, teased by the star, showed her in a stunning, strapless red gown amid snow. The album will feature vocals from 5-year-old son Isaiah.
