It’s been two months since Aaron Carter’s death.
The singer tragically passed away after drowning in his bathtub on November 5, 2022. He was discovered by his housemaid.
Melanie Martin Is Broken-Hearted Two Months After Carter's Death
His ex-fiancée, Melanie Martin, is remembering her former love and the father to her son, Prince Carter, on the two-month anniversary of his death.
On January 5, Martin shared a black-and-white photo of her, Prince and Carter and simply captioned the IG Story, “TWO MONTHS 💔.”
Prior to this post, Martin reflected on the new year ahead of her and Prince without Carter.
She shared a cute home video of Carter making his baby boy laugh by making funny sounds.
“We think about you always. We talk about you still, you have never been forgotten and you never will. We hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk and guide us through our lives, until we meet again. 🦋❤️”

Her followers left short and lengthy messages of support.
“Wishing you both a beautiful New year. I know Aaron had his struggles but he loved you and Prince. He always wanted to be a dad. Hope you find your way through the grief and continue to give Prince a life of support and love. Hopefully break the cycle of trauma. Aaron clearly went through so much from an early age. Do your best to shield Prince from the media and hate. All the best for this coming year and beyond ❤️❤️,” one supportive fan commented.
“I’m so glad you have so many wonderful memories to share with Prince. ❤️❤️,” another wrote.
One person simply wrote, “Beautiful words Melanie 🙏🏾💛.”
One of Martin’s followers encouraged her to not blame herself writing, “Intuitively speaking, you blame yourself. PLEASE, don't blame yourself. They learn, they GROW - on the other side. He says its like hes going through rehab over there. But from a higher perspective, not an earthly human perspective. This was his exit point that he chose. It was never you. He takes full responsibility. Live your life. Truly start living. Sending lots of love. 💜”
Following Carter’s tragic passing, Martin picked up her day job bartending at a local Orange County watering hole called, Pump Room.
The Pump Room in Orange County announced the return of Martin on their Instagram on Monday, December 12th.
“Melanie is Bartending Monday 11am-6pm!” the caption stated.

This is Martin’s first real-job, aside from her OnlyFans, since Carter’s passing
This is very telling as to what kind of financial situation Martin is in. She will most likely not get any money from Carter’s estate, especially since he did not have a will at the time of his death.
His twin sister filed paperwork in late November to control is $550k estate.
Carter’s family has also been vocal about their opinions and feelings toward Martin, and they want nothing to do with her.
