The pop singer shared with her followers last month that after a late night fall while getting a bottle to feed her baby, King slipped down her stairs. “I can laugh now, because I’m doing a lot better, but it was a very intense thing,” she told Entertainment Tonight in a quick update.

She recalled the incident for ET. “I slipped and knocked myself unconscious,” somewhat of a different she shared the day it happened. The “Try Jesus” singer went into just how bad the fall was. “They said I got amnesia and got post-concussion syndrome.”

King was scared a little when it all happened because she was home alone with her son at the time. She is ready to get back on the road but there is still some time before that happens, Elle is doing physical therapy and enjoying “quiet downtime”

The singer is currently living in Nashville and it sounds like she is considering making it her permanent home. “What I love about Nashville is the community that I haven’t really had in any of the last multiple cities that I’ve lived in, even if I’ve had a bunch of friends.”

In Elle’s line of work, she travels a lot and sees a lot of places, it isn’t easy to fall in love with a city when you’re so exposed.

“There’s something beautiful about this city and my friends and my music family, they all totally gathered around me and were all so supportive and showed up for me and helped me with the baby.”

It could be a coincidence but Elle’s son’s name is Lucky, is it possible she and fiancé Dan Tooker gave him the name because she had suffered two miscarriages before carrying her son to term?

She gushed about her son and motherhood in October to People Magazine. “Motherhood has made me a gentler person, a stronger person, someone who tries to be … I’m still working on being less reactive, but I’m happy,” she admits.

King goes on to say that one thing about motherhood is it “will f***ing humble your ass.” As for that “downtime” Elle was recommended, her version might be a little different than ours, the singer made sure to make it to the New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash special. She raved about the night.

“I was literally having the time of my life when we were doing the countdown. I don't know if I've ever been so excited,” she remembers vividly.

“I lost my voice -- I couldn't talk for, like, two days afterwards because I was screaming that countdown,” she recalls. “Just looking around and seeing Jimmie [Allen] and Kelsea [Ballerini] and Zac Brown -- just kind of realizing this is my life, this is my home, it was such a crazy opportunity,” says King.
