Takeoff’s murder suspect bonded out of prison for $1 million. Fans want to know who paid for his release and how long he will last on the outside.
Patrick Xavier Clark Accused Of Murdering Takeoff
The man accused of murdering popular rapper Takeoff has been released on bond. The 33-year-old, scheduled to appear in court on March 9 had to surrender his passport and wear a GPS ankle monitor while out on bond.
Patrick is also banned from possessing any deadly weapon and cannot contact anyone related to the case. Despite all the conditions, Takeoff’s fans are disgusted and stormed social media to address the situation, in a somewhat peaceful manner.
Twitter Users Want Justice For Takeoff
Many followers wanted to know, “Where tf did he get that much money from?” they also wanted to know who paid the bond some even called out JPrince by name accusing him of helping Patrick.
The news of the release ticked off a lot of fans who feel like Patrick deserves to sit in jail while he awaits trial. What’s so special about him they ask. “The legal system is a joke,” claimed a bothered follower of the trend.
Some insisted that if the legal system doesn’t find justice, they just might. “He was safer inside tbh good luck,” admits the follower. Another follower posted a video of a man getting blown up and captioned it, “This what's going to happen the moment he opens his front door.” Another person insinuated that Quavo and Offset could seek their own justice, “he gon be dead in a week. quavo and offset not gonna let this slide.”
Patrick Xavier Clark’s Friends Are Standing With Him
The accused has a strong support system behind him many people who know him personally have suggested he has nothing to do with the late rapper’s murder. According to quotes from a DailyMail article, Fellow rapper Jmali went on record to say:
“You could see by the reactions of everyone that we're shocked because that's not the type of person [Clark] is. He was about business, not violence. Pat was similar to Takeoff in that he was quiet and just went about his business. That's why this is so surprising to everyone here,” he says after the arrest.
Another friend said, “I know him. He's not like that. I honestly feel like they got the wrong guy. “He doesn't get mad or hostile. He's very nice and thoughtful. That's all I have to say. I feel he is being framed.”
2 More Victims & 1 More Suspect
Takeoff, whose real name is Kirsnick Khari Ball was not the only victim in this shooting. A woman, 23 and a male 24-year-old Joshua 'Wash' Washington were rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Another male was also arrested in connection to the murder. 22-year-old Cameron Isiah Joshua was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon and was arrested on November 22. In total, according to police, 10 shots rang out from two separate guns.
Still grieving, Quavo released a song today honoring his nephew and fellow group member titled “Without You” but be warned, it’s a hard listen.
