According to the report, which was created using Instagram data and the pet's potential earnings via social media posts, Benson is rated significantly higher than other famous pets.
Benson frequently appears on Swift's social media pages. In 2020, a post of the cat sprawled out on a couch, which the musician uploaded, amassed a whooping two million like.
Benson has featured in her music videos occasionally, making appearances in "Blank Space" and "Me!" The furball also has extensive commercial work, accounting for its astonishing net worth.
Other Wealthy Pets
According to the list, Gunther VI, a German Shepherd owned by the Gunther Corporation, landed the top spot as the world's wealthiest pet with a staggering $500 million.
Gunther VI is five times wealthier than the second-place finisher on the list, thanks to investments made by the business in real estate developments.
The second-place winner is Nala, a Siamese and Tabby mix with a net worth of $100 million. She was adopted from an animal shelter as a kitten by Varisiri Methachittiphan and Shannon Ellis.
She rose to fame on social media after her LA-based owners shared pictures of her online.
Sadie, Sunny, Lauren, Layla, and Luke, the canines owned by television celebrity Oprah Winfrey, are in fourth place. According to the ranking, the quintet is worth a total of $30 million.
Other notable references include the $25 million Pomeranian Jiffpom, the $13 million cat Choupette owned by the late Karl Lagerfeld, and the $5 million dog Pontiac owned by the late actress Betty White.

However, despite the wealth of the celebrity animals, perhaps only a few have enjoyed the same attention Benson has received from the "All Too Well" singer.
She has often publicly expressed her immense love for her cat, who is named after the "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" character portrayed by actress Mariska Hargitay.
Swift also shares her love for Benson with two other felines named Meredith Grey and Benjamin Button.
The "Midnights" album hitmaker has had Grey since 2011 and Benson since 2014, while Button has been part of Swift's furry trio since 2019, per Cosmopolitan.
Her cats are an intimate part of her life and lifestyle, as she has shown on several occasions. Swift once posted a picture of herself wearing earrings made in Benson's image. On a different occasion, she shared a photo of her birthday cake made to match the faces of her beloved cats.
Taylor Swift Topped Record Sales List In Australia For 2022
Meanwhile, Swift is also among those topping other relevant lists in the music industry.
According to the Daily Mail, the singer had the highest record sales in Australia for 2022, outselling the former One Direction star, Harry Styles, according to a report from the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA).
The organization revealed its top singles and albums for last year on Thursday, and it was not surprising how well Swift's music had performed.
This comes after the Pennsylvania-born "Midnights" album debuted at the top of the charts in October 2022 and had the biggest sales week of any album the previous year.
Most of the tunes on the album were in the top 10 of the singles list and spent seven weeks at the top of the ARIA Albums Charts.
