Britney Spears couldn’t imagine the outcry she’d cause by sharing a post about her sons’ birthdays. The 38-year-old’s fans took pity on the star after she paid tribute to her boys with Kevin Federline‘s special days. Sean Federline, their oldest child, will turn 15 on Monday, September 14 while Jayden Federline turns 14 years old today!
Britney’s kids are growing up before our eyes, but as many pointed out in the comment section of her post, the boys have been staying with their dad ever since drama that ensued with Britney Spears’ dad, Jamie.
Taking to her Instagram, Britney Spears opted not to post a selfie in a floral top. Instead, she shared a painting of a red sky and clouds with a yellow flower and kept her sons the focus. “My two lil men’s birthdays are this week !!!!!!” she captioned the shot.
Giving fans an update on how they are doing, Britney Spears continued, “You guys are getting older and so big and are waaay cooler ? than me.”

“This is heartbreaking,” one person wrote. “Can you even see them queen?” asked another. “This makes me feel like she isn’t with them or hasn’t seen the boys in a while,” commented a third.
It’s been one year since Jamie Spears was under investigation for child abuse over an alleged altercation that turned physical with her youngest son. As The Blast reported, Britney’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline, filed a police report against Jamie Spears, alleging battery on his minor son.
Following the altercation, Kevin Federline was reportedly given 70% custody of their boys. In the end after an investigation, Jamie Spears was not charged for the incident.
He continues to battle it out with Britney Spears in court over her long-standing conservatorship that has sparked the #FreeBritney movement — something she recently spoke out about in support of.
