The findings from "Glee" star Naya Rivera's autopsy report have been released, and add an even more tragic layer to the story when officials explained that the star was in great health and even known to be a strong swimmer before she accidentally drowned. According to documents released by the Ventura County Medical Examiner, and obtained by The Blast, officials performed a full autopsy on the star shortly after she was recovered from Lake Piru after drowning on July 8.

Officials noted that Rivera was in relatively good health, aside from a recent bout of a sinus infection. They also stated that she had a history of vertigo.

Officials also explained Rivera's history with alcohol and drugs, as those are commonly looked at as contributing factors in accidental drownings.

"She was known to consume alcoholic beverages, smoke about a pack of cigarettes per week, and used marijuana by vaping, but she was not known to use any illicit substance."

The documents reveal that there were low-level amounts of amphetamine, and diazepam, caffeine in Rivera's system.

Many questioned whether Rivera was attempting to take her life back in July when she went out for a day on the lake with her 4-year-old son, Josey, but officials have declared there were no signs of that by stating, "There was no known history of suicidal ideation or attempt."

In perhaps the most chilling detail surrounding Rivera's drowning, the document notes, "She was considered to be a good swimmer."

Rivera went missing on July 8 after swimming with her son in Lake Piru, and after a 5-day search her body was discovered on July 13.

As officials told the public back in July after Rivera was discovered, the document states that, "the cause of death is drowning, and the manner of death is accident."

The report also lists the state of Rivera's body, which was difficult to identify after 5 days in the water. Her swimwear was logged into records as a white bikini from Frankie's Bikinis. The medical examiner also logged a pair of metal hoop earrings and a black elastic hair tye.

As we reported, the "Glee" star was buried back in July during a private service at the famous Hollywood Hills Cemetery, Forest Lawn.
