Salma Hayek is literally showing off her "pearls of wisdom" – older might be wise for the 54-year-old actress, but it isn't stopping her from going down memory lane. Salma, followed by 15.8 million on her Instagram, updated her account on Thursday with a sizzling throwback. The "Like A Boss" actress offered two angles, one very frontless dress, plus some high-end jewelry that matched her caption.

Salma is fresh from making headlines as she turned 54 in a skintight swimsuit and sheer skirt. Fans don't think she looks a day over 34. Check it out below.

Today's shots came with a professional and glossy finish, plus the fiesty Latina back in the day. They showed Hayek looking stunning in a plunging and sleeveless black dress with a dangerous v neckline, also sporting a triple ring of pearls as a necklace and some fairly eye-popping cleavage.

Salma may not have a Kardashian-level following, but the "Frida" actress has her fans. In fact, that Instagram following is up approximately 300,000 in the last month. A caption from Hayek read: "Pearls of wisdom," also offering her trademark Spanish translation and a #tbt and #pearls.

Fans have been all over this post. "Oh! My! God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" one wrote, with another writing: "So beautiful." Hayek was also thrown flame and heart emoji up the wazoo – bear in mind this Hollywood face can rack up 250,000 views in 20 minutes with her pool bikini videos.

Salma teased her September 2 birthday with a black swimsuit and skirt photo as she enjoyed the Mediterranean outdoors. She confirmed her photo as new by writing:

"Guess who’s turning 54 tomorrow? By the way, this is not a Throwback Thursday! Thank you Marjo for turning into a photographer during the vacation!"

Shortly after, the birthday post, racking Salma up over 1.8 million likes, arrived, with Hayek saying she was "grateful" and "proud" of every one of her 54 years. Jennifer Anniston has since liked the post.

Salma, who turned 53 in a turquoise bikini, has kept up the swimwear action as she inches her way towards 55. Especially popular on the star's feed was her August Greek coffee bikini shot: her "cafecito" – "a little coffee" was showcased alongside a plunging black bikini as Salma sat in typical Greek surroundings, with one fan writing: "You literally look like a greek queen waiting to be discover."
