Salma Hayek Stripping Down To Plunging Bikini Receives Mixed Reviews On Instagram

Salma Hayek took less than an hour to rake in hundreds of comments on Monday as she delivered a video version of her plunging Greece bikini – complete with the 54-year-old peeling off a sweater to reveal skimpy swimwear in an artsy, blurred video. Salma, currently out on the Mediterranean island of Paros, had debuted the busty look in late August as she wowed her 15.5 million Instagram followers with a bikini snap while showing off her "cafecito" – "A little coffee."

Scroll for the video. Salma, a headline-maker just five days ago for turning 54 and stunning in a skintight yellow swimsuit and matching skirt, was in the news on August 20 as the above photo snagged the Mexican over 950,000 likes.

Today's video came off-beat. It showed "The Eternals" actress shot close up, backed by the cobalt-blue chairs seen in the August snap, and removing a dark sweater to reveal that lace-strung and feminine bikini, with Hayek eventually sitting down. An even artsier video appeared with a swipe-right – swirls, laughter, and a bit of an umbrella effect.

Keep scrolling for the video. Salma had taken to her caption, writing: "The perks of going on vacation with a friend that’s a brilliant director.

Valeria Golinio is an Italian actress known for her roles in movies including "Rain Man" and "Big Top Pee-wee."

Not everyone appeared aware that Valeria is a woman, with one user writing: "Seems more than just a friend to me..." Salma has been married to billionaire François-Henri Pinault since 2009.

Another comment critiqued the video, pretty distastefully, reading: "Is this a porno from the '80s? No disrespect I love you too much to watch anyways."

A further fan replied: "Why doesn't he have a stabilizer on his camera? It's all shaky," with a fourth fan simply responding: "?"

Salma's sizzling 54th birthday snaps – and the ones leading up to the big day – were a completely different story, though. Hayek updated ahead of her birthday in a busty black swimsuit while posing amid picturesque Greek wilderness and writing:

"Guess who’s turning 54 tomorrow? By the way, this is not a Throwback Thursday! Thank you Marjo for turning into a photographer during the vacation!"

Salma turned 54 on September 2, once again reminding Instagram that she doesn't age. Her sun-drenched photo, receiving a li[ke from "Friends" alum Jennifer Aniston and comments from legendary actor Anthony Hopkins and "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Orlando Bloom, came captioned:

"I am very grateful and proud for every single one of my 54 years. Thank you for all the birthday wishes, especially to my fans who made a special account for my birthday. What a gift! @salmahappybirthday ✨."

Fortunately, plenty of love came in for today's video – "Simply gorgeous," one fan wrote, with Salma being called a "goddess" by three separate users.
