Alec Baldwin & Hilaria Baldwin React To Ireland Baldwin’s Pregnancy

The daughter of actor Alec Baldwin and actress Kim Basinger, model Ireland Baldwin, 27, is getting ready to welcome her first child in 2023!

The "30 Rock" actor is clearly excited to become a grandpa. Alec himself recently welcomed a new baby, daughter Ilaria Catalina Irena, in September with his wife Hilaria Baldwin. The couple also shares daughters Maria Lucia Victoria, 20 months, and Carmen, 9, and sons Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas, 2, Romeo Alejandro David, 4, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 6, and Rafael “Raf” Thomas, 7.

All of the children are excited to welcome Ireland's new baby to the family, as seen in a video that Hilaria posted on her Instagram page shortly after Ireland announced the news on New Year's Eve.

In a 29-second Instagram video, their eldest daughter, Carmen, can be heard explaining the meaning of an aunt and uncle to each of the children. They end the video by all gathering together on the couch and saying, “Congratulations Ireland and Andre” in unison.

Ireland has been with her boyfriend RAC, born André Allen Anjos, for a little over a year now. The two are working on opening up a shop called Good Times together on the beach in Gearhart, Oregon.

In the caption, Hilaria wrote, “From all these excited tiny uncles and aunties and grandpa Alec and grandma me... We are so happy for you, Ireland and Andre…can’t wait to meet the little babe.”

Ireland replied, “Awwww thank you guys. The littlest aunts and uncles.” RAC also dropped four red heart emoji in the comments, as did many fans.

“Congratulations to you ALL, so cute the little Baldwinitos are so excited, love the way Carmen takes over to explain to her younger siblings, such a good big sis,” one fan commented.

“How beautiful to start the new year with wonderful news! Congratulations to all of your family!!!” another follower chimed in. “What cute uncles the baby will have! Grandpa still doesn't believe it. Congratulations family. What a nice way to start the year,” a third fan gushed.

On Saturday afternoon, the aspiring screenwriter took to Instagram to share a photograph of her sonography with her followers. She captioned the post "Happy New Year" alongside a red heart emoji. Although some fans thought it was a joke, Ireland quickly confirmed that it was real in her Instagram Stories.

Many of the Baldwins hopped on the post to share their congratulations. Hailey Bieber, formerly Hailey Baldwin, now married to singer Justin Bieber, commented “cryin.” Alaia Baldwin wrote, “WELCOME TO THE MOMMY CLUB” alongside emojis of pregnant women and milk bottles.

Rumer Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, is also expecting. She commented, “Yay can’t wait to meet you little one.” Corinne Foxx, the daughter of actor Jamie Foxx, wrote, “Omg!!! Congrats Ireland!!” alongside a red heart emoji.Singer and actress Paris Hilton commented “Congratulations love!” Sailor Brinkley Cook, a model and the daughter of supermodel Christie Brinkley, commented, “Wow. Tears.” Ireland’s make-up artist, Liz Castellanos, wrote, “Cats out of the bag! I’m just so overjoyed for you guys! Life changing blessing.”

Only a few months ago, Alec Baldwin and his wife welcomed their seventh child together. Ireland is the only child the “Beetlejuice” actor shared with Kim Basinger, making him the father to eight children.

At the time, the couple made an exclusive statement to PEOPLE magazine following the birth of their newborn daughter, who they named Ilaria Catalina Irena Baldwin. Their latest Baldwinito was born on Thursday, September 22, 2022; she weighed 6 lbs and 13 oz.

"How grateful we feel to welcome our newest little daughter into this world," the couple said in a statement. "Just as magical and filled with love as every other little person we have been blessed with."

"Her Baldwinito siblings are so excited and all discussing who she looks the most like," they added. "We are overjoyed to introduce you to baby Ilaria."

Since then, both Alec happy parents have been sharing regular updates about their newborn baby and their growing family.
