Fox Sports’ “Undisputed” star Skip Bayless is under fire after making an insensitive comment regarding the horrifying and scary injury Buffalo Bills' safety Damar Hamlan faced while on the field.
After hitting Bengals player Tee Higgins, the Buffalo Bills safety got up and took a few steps before suddenly collapsing again on the field. Medical personnel rushed to Hamlan as an ambulance almost immediately came onto the field.
NFL analysts and viewers soon learned that medical personnel had to perform CPR on the 24-year-old for nine total minutes before placing him into the ambulance and rushing him to a hospital in the Cincinnati area. At the time of publication, he is in critical condition.
What Did Skip Bayless Say?
While many NFL viewers, players, and analysts took to social media to share their thoughts and prayers, with many even saying that this "is bigger than football," sports commentator Skip Bayless had other thoughts.
“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game — but how?” Bayless Tweeted. “This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”

That was the point of my last tweet," he said. "I'm sorry if that was misunderstood but his health is all that matters. Again, everything else is irrelevant. I prayed for him & will continue to."
