'The Bachelor' Will Be Hosting A Sneak Peek Into Zach Shallcross' Season, Fans Don't Seem Excited

"The Bachelor" will be back on our TV screens before the end of the month, and Bachelor Nation will be given an opportunity to get to know Zach Shallcross more intimately!

Bachelor Nation first met Shallcross as a contestant on the latest season of "The Bachelorette." Shallcross, 26, sought to win Rachel Recchia's heart, but would end up placing third. Recchia would get engaged to Tino Franco, but the pair would split soon after Franco stepped out on their relationship, cheating on her.

Bachelor Nation was given a sneak peek into Shallcross' season a few weeks ago after the trailer began circulating on social media.

The trailer isn't the only sneak peek fans will receive before the January 23rd season premiere; "The Bachelor" will be shining a light on Shallcross' contestants on the official Bachelor Nation TikTok account on Wednesday, January 4th!

However, some fans in Bachelor Nation aren't feeling excited to tune into the next chapter of "The Bachelor." Mixed reactions to the upcoming season have been steadily shared on social media as Bachelor Nation nears the beginning of Shallcross' second chance at love, and they don't seem to be slowing down.

Bachelor Nation began promoting an upcoming TikTok event on their official social media accounts on Monday afternoon.

Sharing posts on the official @BachelorABC Twitter account and the Bachelor Nation Instagram, the franchise announced they would "be giving an insider's look into the women vying for Zach's heart this WEDNESDAY..."

Host Jesse Palmer will also be involved in the event, which will take place at 4PM PT/7 PM Est.

Bachelor Nation and reality TV podcast, Here For The Rose, quote-tweeted the announcement, writing, "For 2 second [sic] my brain could not see two different people," with a distressed emoji, in reference to the event's poster featuring Shallcross and Palmer together.

The Instagram post for the upcoming event received a number of comments from fans, giving off a lukewarm reception to both the event and Shallcross' season.

The tepid reaction to Shallcross and his season of "The Bachelor" isn't anything new. A few weeks ago, The Blast took a look at reactions pertaining to the teaser trailer's release. "I've never been so uninterested," a fan commented on Shallcross' reel post of the trailer.

The disinterested vibes carried over to the aforementioned event post on Instagram. One fan simply wrote, "Nope."

"No thanks. Zach is a huge snooze fest. Wont be watching," another viewer commented.

"Great!! Another CLAY snooze fest season!! This show has fallen apart since Chris left," a Chris Harrison fan commented.

The absence of Harrison within the franchise was mentioned more than once. Another fan wrote, "I'm not interested in TikTok, fine if others want to do it. will not be watching 'The Bachelor' this season. Have moved on since Chris Harrison was terminated."

"Will be skipping just like I skipped Clayton's season," another Bachelor Nation fan commented on the post. "I'll just imagine Rodney is the bachelor. can't believe he's been passed up twice now for guys that people have no emotional connection to or desire for," their comment concluded.

Rodney Mathews was a contestant on Michelle Young's season of "The Bachelorette," and was most recently featured as a contestant on "Bachelor In Paradise."

Perhaps one of the ladies hoping to be Mrs. Zach Shallcross will capture skeptical viewers' hearts!
