'Swifties' are beginning to 'Speak Now' and are no longer holding their peace after a reported development in the world of Taylor Swift!

Swift had an extremely lucrative year in 2022. The 33-year-old released her tenth studio album, won several awards, and her next career venture was announced at the end of the year; she wrote an original film script, and she will direct the feature film!

The first prospect of Swift's upcoming career ventures in 2023 began circulating after a reported insider affiliated with British publication The Sun, revealed which album in Swift's "Taylor's Version" rerecordings will be allegedly released next!

On January 1st, the 'insider'  revealed fans can look forward to the next rerecording release in 2023. Of course, after any hint of a new project from the "Anti-Hero" singer is revealed, Swift's devoted fanbase of Swifties take to social media to celebrate the piece of reported news, and this revelation is no exception!

Looking Back At The Chatter Concerning Upcoming 'Taylor's Version' Rerecordings!

Since Swift began releasing the rerecorded versions of her first six albums in 2021, Swifties have been dissecting easter eggs and seeking out countless hints concerning the next title!

Last spring, fans speculated Swift's 2014 LP "1989" would be the next "Taylor's Version" release! According to The Blast's report on the idea, Swift had subtly revealed three clues alluding to the LP's reported release.

Those hints included the release of a lyric video for the rerecorded version of the "1989" track "This Love." The track was featured in the Amazon Prime TV series adaptation of Jenny Han's "The Summer I Turned Pretty" book series.

After "Wildest Dreams" began circulating on TikTok in 2021, Swift released the 'Taylor's Version' of the song to celebrate! Swift would make a TikTok containing a snippet of the audio.

Swift's online store also contained many pieces of "1989" related merchandise at the time as well!

After the lyric video from "This Love" was released, Swifties discussed the intricacies of the rerecordings on social media and their favorite parts about the new versions.

"The amazing thing about re-recordings like that is that you can experience a song like you're hearing it for the first time when at the same time you already know you love the song from the first note," a fan wrote. "A whole new opportunity to appreciate the lyrics, her voice, the music. It's brilliant!"

Swifties Have Been 'Speaking Now' For Awhile For 'Speak Now' To Be The Next 'Taylor's Version' Release!

Swift's 2010 LP has been part of the "Taylor's Version" conversation for a long time now!

Nearly a year ago, The Blast reported on fans' wishes for "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" to be released next. "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" was released in the spring of 2021, with "Red (Taylor's Version)" following in the fall.

Those fans who are itching to hear new versions of "Mine" or "Dear John" could be getting their wish soon! The aforementioned 'insider' spoke about "Speak Now," the "Back To December" singer's third album.

"I can reveal she is set to prove she is the hardest working person in the industry once again by releasing her reworked third album 'Speak Now' in the coming months," the insider wrote.

The publication also reported "A source said 'Speak Now' looks set to be the next album in the 'Taylor's Version' series..."

"Taylor has quietly been in the studio working on remaking both 'Speak Now' and '1989.' All details are still being ironed out but 'Speak Now Taylor's Version' should be out within the next couple of months, before she kicks off her 'Eras' world tour," The Sun revealed.

What Are Fans Saying About The Possibility?

"Speak Now" became a trending topic on Twitter on Monday, January 2nd, a day after The Sun's article was published.

"i wonder what she'll make the single for speak now tv . as much as i'd like it to be dear john i don't think it'll be . maybe enchanted," a Swiftie tweeted.

"Remember when Evermore was released in December 2020," a Swiftie tweeted in response to a thread about The Sun's news from The Swift Society, "In April 2021 Fearless Taylor's Version was released. So anything is possible. Speak Now Taylor's Version in February or March 2023. Since Midnights was released in October 2022. Playable."

"john mayer better start counting his days when speak now (taylor's version) is released," another fan tweeted. Singer John Mayer has been widely known as the subject of the track "Dear John." The pair briefly dated when Swift was 19. Mayer was 32 at the time.

The track "Would've Could've Should've" from "Midnights" reportedly references their relationship.
