Britney Spears has been sharing her upside-down and totally rubber-band gymnastics. The 38-year-old pop icon updated her Instagram stories on Tuesday night with three photos seemingly cherry-picked as her most-flexible moments – Britney, who vowed to do more "acro yoga" for her 2020 New Year's Resolution, has been keeping it up.

Britney's photos last night come as the "Toxic" singer suffered a major blow at the end of August. 68-year-old dad Jamie Spears continues his financial grip on the singer. Check out the latest, plus the photos below.

Britney, wearing her trademark micro shorts and, in the pink shorts photo very much seeming to defy gravity with them, even went Cirque du Soleil style with one snap – Britney was against a wall and with one leg outstretched while in her balanced handstand.

Britney made fitness-centric headlines as 2020 kicked off, with the singer and known yogi vowing to keep the exercise up.

"In 2020 I will be doing a lot more acroyoga and the basics for yoga," Spears wrote on Instagram, with the star putting her money where her mouth is. Britney did break one promise, though – a "yoga pose" a day was promised at the start of the pandemic, but nobody is bashing this troubled starlet over the lack of downward dogs.

Talk for Spears right now is legal as her conservatorship is extended until 2021. Britney delivered a very rare message yesterday, though.

Britney, who this year called herself "authentic" and posted time-stamped photos to her Instagram, continues to face allegations that her images are old, recycled, and part of a handling team that fans feel control her social media. Yesterday, Spears updated with flowers in her hair and from a backyard scene well-known to her followers.

"And to the peeps who think I’m posting the same pics …… well you know us girls …... it’s the same top and same hair but if you look at the details it’s a completely different picture ????? !!!!!"

If you aren't up-to-date, the concern on Britney's Instagram stems from repetitive images. 2020 kicked off with Britney shot against a red wall in 12+ similar photos, with the backdrop then switching to yellow and white, also including outdoor settings this summer. The same looks and outfits have fans worried – despite Spears clapping back yesterday, remarks expressed the usual sentiment.

"There is NO way these are not from the same photo session a while back," one fan wrote. Another said: "Yeah, a man is definitely posting these."
