Dr Disrespect Suffering From Anxiety Attacks After Twitch Ban: 'It Comes In Waves'

Video game legend Dr Disrespect may have successfully relocated much of his gaming community on YouTube after a sudden Twitch ban sent him packing with no explanation, but the star revealed to fans that the break with Twitch had a psychological and emotional impact that is still haunting him to this day.

Herschel "Guy" Beahm IV, otherwise known as Dr Disrespect, was on his YouTube channel Monday afternoon during a live stream when he took a moment to address the fans who have been so supportive over the last weeks.

"I feel like I need to talk to you guys right now, about how i really have been feeling about everything, Doc said to fans after dominating a game of "Call of Duty: Warzone."

He took a pause while appearing to get emotional about the situation at hand.

It's kinda crazy, I've played sports my whole life, I’ve been in high-pressure situations … free throws game on the line streaming in front of millions of people," Dr Disrespect said while looking back on his competitive career.

The Doc then revealed, "I’m telling you, I’ve never dealt with anxiety before, I never have."

The Doc reflected on the success of Twitch, and the "point that we were at before we got banned .. I'm talking we’ve sort of overcome a lot of stuff in the past. We’ve gotten to such a good point ladies and gentlemen, all cylinders firing. Conscious feels extremely incredible ... and then to have that taken away from me and to not know why and to not know anything about it, not to be told nothing. Boom. Everything we built taken away."

It's been a huge question as to why Twitch kicked Dr Disrespect off their platform, and aside from claiming he violated their Terms of Service ... no real answer has been given.

Revealing that anxiety attacks have become a part of his life, Dr Disrespect explained:

"The fact that I am here live on YouTube has been a fantastic return, but my anxiety levels .. it's something that comes in huge waves and I'm having a hard time dealing with it if I'm being honest."

He also let fans know that they may notice changes in his day-to-day behavior during streaming.

"There might be days when the Doc seems of,f feels off, we’re trying to learn the dark alleyway man."

The Doc wrapped up stating that he's trying to move on but having a tough time when he still has no explanation as to why his world was ripped away.

The war between Dr Disrespect and Twitch is far from over, as the gamer hinted of a legal battle during his YouTube debut the other week.

"I have to be intelligent about all this, you’re talking about a heavy contract, lots of money," Disrespect revealed.

He added, "There’s big money involved, so let the legal professionals do what they need to do."

Since his return to YouTube has amassed almost 3 million subscribers and regularly gets thousands of viewers to his livestreams.
