Kate Beckinsale is not letting anyone ruin her relaxing bathtime and clapped back at an online troll who lobbed a nasty comment into the waters of her peaceful tub. The "Underworld: Evolution" star took to Instagram on Sunday evening while showing off her bath and dropping a clever pun to fans.

"Having a whale of a time," the actress wrote to her 4.4 million followers while showing herself in a delight looking bath near a toy whale floating beside her.

Although most of Beckinsale's fans showered the star with praise and love, one message from an online troll stuck out after he said something particularly nasty to the star.

"Do you set up a camera to take a shit too or do you have some poor assistant that has to follow you around all day to take pictures?" the comment read.

The hateful message didn't go unnoticed by Beckinsale, who personally responded to the filth.

"Neither. I also don't wake up and go on anyone's page I feel contempt for because that would be a waste of life."

Beckinsale's epic clap back was well-received by her fans, and the response racked up over 11,000 likes in just a few hours.

The star's response also garnered hundreds of comments from her true fans, with praise like, "imagine getting told off by one of the most beautiful women on earth! ??? what a tool!"

Another fan wrote, "well said Kate. Keep posting, I love you, you're gorgeous and sincere. I also love your cat, he's adorable."

The troll did not have a followup ... which was probably for the best.

Beckinsale has been making it a practice of remaining calm and level-headed during the COVID-19 pandemic and recently shared some sage wisdom with her fans.

"Please forgive me for what I said when I was at war with myself and projecting onto you," a message in chalk read that Beckinsale had reposted to her IG account.

"I bet so many of us would feel such healing hearing this. Difficult times breed a lot of projecting. We are all vulnerable," she added.
