Gwyneth Paltrow Trolled For Describing Kim Kardashian As 'Fascinating'

Gwyneth Paltrow invited Kim Kardashian to her Goop podcast and the moment is really rubbing her fans the wrong way.

The actress took to Instagram to announce the next celebrity guest of her podcast “Goop”. Surprise, it’s Kim Kardashian. Paltrow had some pretty astonishing words to introduce Kim.

“@kimkardashian is fascinating to the world, we know this. For me she is fascinating because she challenges so many ideas of what a woman is supposed to be, and how she is supposed to look and behave while doing it,” claims Paltrow.

The Iron Man actress went on to say, “I loved getting to interview her for the @goop podcast and get into this and so much more. Link in bio to listen to the full episode.”

For obvious reasons Paltrow's kind words regarding Kim hit a nerve with many of her followers and left her comment section in shambles over learning that Gwen is a Kim K fan.

Paltrow’s followers had mixed feelings about the praise that Paltrow showered on Kardashian. T first person to scoff at it was former Real Housewives of New York City Bethenny Frankel who commented, “I mean LOL.”

This prompted a handful and then some followers to agree with the former reality star. “There are many accomplished women in the world worthy of air time but Kim K is not one of them” agreed one follower.

Another follower had a mouthful to say. “Sorry Gwyneth.. I like and respect you, but she is not fascinating at all. That word and her don’t belong in the same sentence. In fact, she is quite the opposite. For crying out loud, what makes her fascinating to you?! It’s bewildering you would say that. I thought your bar would be higher. I think most women are over the Kardashians period.”

The former reality star received her own backlash in the comments with many believing that she has no place to open her mouth because she kind of achieved fame and success in the same manner as Kim K.

“@bethennyfrankel didn’t you also sustain fame and businesses through reality shows? Am I missing how ur above this person? She fights for prison reform, u help with BStrong. You negatively impacted how women view themselves with a brand called Skinnygirl, the kardashians have done harm too. Y’all seem really alike imo. I guess a diff is that her reality shows are actually successful??”

Another follower was also unimpressed with Frankel’s wrongfully pointed hatred. “@bethennyfrankel I love you but no, this kind of shit is unnecessary & tacky.”

Another believed Frankel has wasted her time. “@bethennyfrankel imagine your only relevancy in the last 5 years being for shitting on the Kardashians….”

While Frankel and others are flipping out over Kim being the guest, some followers aren’t surprised that Paltrow has sunk so low as to invite the reality star on her show. “She’s the women who sells vagina smelling candles,” one follower described Paltrow as.

“And this is how you lose credibility goop…hard pass,” noted a now ex-follower of the brand. “Please tell me Gwyneth didn’t write this herself, “ wondered a follower. “mmmm...I thought you were better than this smh ..unfollowed!”

The upset continues and only gets worse as people really begin to lay into Paltrow and comment on specifics from the podcast they didn’t like one bit.
