Influential Soccer Icon Pelé Dead After Battle With Colon Cancer

Brazilian soccer star and legend, Pelé, has died at age 82.
The three-time World Cup winner passed away after his colon cancer had advanced on December 21st.
He had a tumor removed from his colon last year and informed fans in October he was on the mend.

Sadly, his condition worsened and needed treatment for cardiac and renal dysfunction.
Pelé is considered one of the greatest soccer players of all time.
Per reports, Pelé was admitted to the hospital on November 30th with swelling all over his body and 'decompensated heart failure' before passing away a month on after receiving palliative care.

Additional reports claimed the legendary soccer player was struggling to eat and that his chemotherapy was no longer working.
