If Keke Palmer would have hosted the MTV "VMAs" in the '80s, she would have kept it "Nasty!"

The beautiful actress teased her fans on Tuesday by throwing on a red leather jacket that would make Janet Jackson proud. Palmer must be a huge fan of the iconic singer because she used Jackson's classic song, "Nasty" to promote her upcoming hosting gig for the 2020 MTV "Video Music Awards."

Scroll down to see Keke's "Nasty" vibes.

"If I had hosted the #VMAs in the 1980’s we all would have been a little NASTY ??. See how we do it in 2020 when I host the @vmas this Sunday 8/30 at 8pm on @mtv," she captioned the funny clip

Keke's millions of fans are super excited about her upcoming gig and showered her with praise about how good she looked.

Perhaps Keke is planning a homage to Janet and her song, "Nasty." Back in 1987, "Nasty" was nominated for several awards including choreography, female video, and overall performance. It was the first year that she appeared on the long-running award show but it would not be her last, she would pretty much end up being nominated ever year until 2001. Paula Abdul ended up winning best choreography for the "Nasty" music video in '87.

Remember when all your friends and you tried to copy Janet's moves? Hopefully, Keke will bust out some of her own when she hosts this year.

Palmer has the amazing acting opportunity of playing multiple members of the same family (Eddie Murphy in "The Nutty Professor" style). She is one of the only stars of the Facebook Watch show, "Turnt Up with the Taylors." She plays the mom, the dad, and the brother too but Barbie has to be our favorite.

"OMG Barbie’s family is trying to hold her back from that next level and she won’t stand for it!!! Watch a new Turnt Up with the Taylors at the link in my bio. ? #TurntUpTaylors," Keke captioned a teaser clip for the newest episode.

Last week, Keke took the time to honor some strong men in show biz that have supported her along the way. She penned a lengthy message explaining that the world needs more love and that there are some "good men" out there.

"In light of some things I’ve been seeing on Twitter and IG, I wanted to take the time to highlight some of the awesome men I’ve come across in the industry! I can’t list every single person and I haven’t met every single person lol," she wrote on social media while sharing pictures of important celebs.

"My experience is mine alone but these were some people that came to mind that have encouraged me and supported me throughout my career showing me nothing but respect. Judge Mathis and Snoop were actually the first people to ever tell me to try out hosting lol(Judge Mathis got me my first deal with “Just Keke”) Nick Cannon allowed me to produce my first movie ever “Rags” at only 17 years old!"

"Things are divided more than ever and there are a lot of changes happening for the better. I just wanted to use this moment to show love to those that have shown me love."
