Timthetatman spent the last week flooding news feeds across the gaming world with some purely wholesome content, despite the seemingly never-ending stream of bad news in the world lately. Where It All Started

If you've been on Twitch in the last couple of weeks, you've definitely seen Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout at the top of the charts, quickly amassing almost one million followers. Timthetatman isn't the only gamer to fall in love with Fall Guys. The game combines a cutesy, pastel aesthetic with slapstick comedy, and the difficulty curve isn't excessive. And yet, for some reason, Timthetatman just couldn't seem to win a game, but broadcast his struggles to the whole wide web anyway.

Mishaps Along the Way

One of the draws of Fall Guys is that the game isn't particularly hard to win. So, why couldn't Timthetatman win? Well, the game also requires a fair bit of luck. Unfortunately, it seemed for a while that luck was in short supply. He even went so far as to get a cheater banned but that didn't improve his gameplay. As his fame rose, some of the players in lobbies appeared to be inting or otherwise trying to force him to lose. Other times, Timthetatman would find himself ejected off the map entirely. Overall, trying to be the last man standing out of 60 players proved to be a formidable feat. However, fans stayed on, engaged in the process, waiting for the day Tim would be victorious.

The World Watches, Together

Timthetatman did not always handle his losses with grace - in fact, there are quite a few videos of him raging at the game. So many, in fact, that you can watch a fun compilation! Despite the week-long battle to finally be the last man standing in this fun Battle Royale style game, Tim only gained followers while constantly disappointing him. So, why was everyone so transfixed? Fall Guys is both incredibly simple to understand, but also filled with hilarious injustice. No amount of skill can guarantee you will win every game. According to an interview with Timthetatman, a large part of the draw is the sheer quantity of moments where viewers can say "'Did you see what happened to Tim, Can you believe that?' I think that's what makes it really, really entertaining to watch".

With more and more people watching, the pressure was on. Even the Fall Guys Twitter account had joined in the fun, poking at Tim's inability to seize the crown. However, they were sure to be there to congratulate Timthetatman when he finally reached victory. As his little bean danced around the screen, Tim lost his mind, cheering and slapping his chair. Immediately, his fans and haters began rejoicing.

Twitch Goes Wild

On Tuesday, the day before Timthetatman finally got his "W" in Fall Guys, his viewership on Twitch peaked at 150k watchers. While he was nervous to have so many people following him, if anything it only made him want to win more. His fans did not disappoint, either. Fellow streamers and gamers alike cheered him on, crowning him the king of Fall Guys. Tim's twitter mentions blew up, and so did many silly hashtags. After an eventful year, many gamers feel like this was exactly what the world needed - a chance to bond over the silly antics of a frustrated gamer for a game that should be relatively easy. We can all relate to that, right?
