The Mickey Mouse Club / Disney

Britney Spears may be a pro in front of the camera after years of experience, but she admits that back, when she was an up and coming star on Disney's "The Mickey Mouse Club," Britney, wasn't above using some of the oldest TV tricks in the book to help get through the production.

Britney often reminisces about her time as a Mouseketeer -- she joined "The Mickey Mouse Club" in 1992 alongside other child stars; Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, and Keri Russell.

Britney Spears / Instagram

Britney took to Instagram this week to share a fun blooper reel from the 1994 film, "The Little Rascals." In the adorable deleted scenes, Darla, played by actress Brittany Ashton Holmes, cannot stop looking into the camera and is constantly reminded to stop.

The "Circus" singer revealed she too suffered from a similar issue during her "Mickey Mouse Club" days.

"When I was on the Mickey Mouse Club they used to use a spot for me beside the camera so I would stop looking at the camera."

Britney definitely felt a connection to Darla's obsession with staring into the lens, and wrote:

"I would always get in trouble just like her .... and her name is Britney too .... yes I know hers is spelled Brittany ? !!!! I saw this and laughed so hard yesterday."

It's unclear if the "Little Rascals" Brittany knows how much the superstar Britney was fangirling out over her childhood role. A quick look at her IMDB revealed some other gigs for the actress after "Little Rascals," but Darla was definitely her most memorable role.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show / Warner Bros.

Britney has always been fond of the friends she made on "The Mickey Mouse Club," and back in 2018 she was able to have a mini-reunion with co-star Ryan Gosling when they were both booked for appearances on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Gosling has spoken about his time on the show and how he was blown away by the talent of Britney and the other kids.

"I remember when we first got to the show, they sort of had all the kids perform for one another. I remember, it was Christina Aguilera and then Britney performed and I remember thinking, 'Okay. They're like, freakishly talented," the actor said.
