Selena Gomez is well-known for her music and acting career. But now she is into something new that her fans seem to be loving so far because they can see a bit into her real personality and her personal life. Gomez now has a cooking show on HBO Max called Selena + Chef. And, after watching a recent episode where she was cooking with Chef Roy Choi, fans think she may be dating someone new, finally. Is it true? Her fans think so just by the way she was acting on her most recent episode.

Who has Selena Gomez dated in the past? Well, like many celebrities, she doesn't talk much about her personal life. However, we do know a little about who she has dated in the past.
Her first relationship, that we know of, was back during her teenage years when she was on the TV show, Wizards of Waverly Place. Her boyfriend during that time was fellow Disney star and singer, Nick Jonas. However, since they were just kids, their puppy love didn't last.

Her longest relationship so far that we know of was with singer Justin Bieber, who she was dating on-and-off again from 2010 to 2018, which was when they were last seen in public together. Now, Justin Bieber is a happily married man. Not too long after his last, and final break-up with Gomez, he married Hailey Baldwin.
In between her on-and-off again relationship with Bieber, Gomez also dated singer, The Weeknd for several months in 2017. Has she dated anyone since then and is she dating anyone new now?

According to what she told the Wall Street Journal in January 2020, she has been single for two years. She said she has dated no one seriously since The Weeknd and Justin Bieber.
But her fans seem to think she may have a new boyfriend now. The reason they think this is that while she was on her cooking show, cooking Korean BBQ Texas breakfast tacos with Chef Roy Choi, she received a phone call from someone. After answering the phone and learning who it was, she started blushing.

She stops cooking the breakfast tacos to answer the phone and quickly tells the caller on the other end that she will have to call them back. She hangs up, looks at Chef Choi and says, "Sorry, cute boy." She then laughs and smiles.
Chef Choi asked her about the "cute boy" who just called her and she quickly hushed him before saying, "What am I doing? I just got like..." Then she laughs and her grandmother finishes her sentence for her and says, "Distracted!" They all then laugh together.

So, although this doesn't mean she has a new boyfriend yet, but she may be talking to someone new.
Although Selena Gomez has been single for the last two years, and although she seems to be ok with this, she has confirmed that she does want a boyfriend. She even wrote a whole song about it which appeared on her new album, Rare. The new song is called Boyfriend and it was released in April 2020. She also told her friend, Julia Michaels, that she really wants a boyfriend. Maybe she is about to get her wish to come true soon.
