Amber Heard Covers Up After Getting Slammed for No Mask

Amber Heard has definitely been paying attention to the hate she's been receiving online during a vacation to the Middle East. The "Aquaman" star has been sightseeing in the Turkish city of Istanbul over the last several days, and her visit has definitely been kicking up controversy with those who feel the actress has been disrespectful with her lack of clothes, including a face mask.

In her most recent photo, it appears Heard is agreeing that donning a facemask while in public during the COVID-19 pandemic is a good idea.

The hate against Amber Heard over her trip began earlier this week when the actress was criticized for wearing "inappropriate clothing" while visiting a mosque in Istanbul.

"Spent the day wandering around the magic of Istanbul’s mosques and couldn’t be more in love with this gorgeous city," Heard had captioned her photo.

Although she was wearing a headscarf, many people pointed out that she didn't appear to be wearing a bra.

"Amber Heard has no respect for religion or race as we’ve seen many times. Posted while touring a Mosque. Using a Hijab as a fashion accessory. Hair & neck showing and braless," one person on Twitter wrote.

The issue with her clothes must have gotten back to the star, because she actually tweeted about one of the online reports with a scathing response:

"Nope. Apparently whoever paid 4 this to b “written” wasnt paid enough. Ill make it easy(ier):
Mosques are real places. So are museums & churches. So are head scarfs (where they are sometimes required n order 2 visit). Mystery solved."

After that situation was taken care of, people then began to remind Heard that she should be wearing a mask while in public.

"Nevermind the scarf and being bra-less, showing your neckline. What about your MASK? Each IG vid you carry it like an accessory while everyone else including your gf is wearing theirs. Are you worried no-one will recognise you?" one online critic wrote.

Another person fired off a dig at Heard, telling the actress, "Hi. We’re in a pandemic. Stop traveling overseas and wear a damn mask. Thank you

Although many of the hate coming towards Heard was from Johnny Depp fans, they weren't the sole source.

It seems Heard may have agreed with the remarks about wearing a mask, because her latest snap shows the personal protective equipment in place.

"You could stare for years at the inside of Hagia Sophia and never get bored.... or less amazed. What a stunning place (as of a few weeks ago, no longer a museum). I feel lucky I could see part of it still," Heard wrote on Instagram while showing herself masked up and appropriately dressed.
